While Fridays might be the best for viewing parties, they're not the best for strip joints. The party will need to be on a Wednesday.
You are absolutely right about Friday night not being a good night for a good size BBS gathering, considering they are usually the busiest night of the week. So maybe someone could post the remaining Wednesday games for the rest of the season, and we could see what game most everyone could attend or would like to see.
If Wednesday is not good for everyone I'll consider Saturday night as well. That might work out better I think.

I guess Roc Paint had his feelings hurt because out of 15,000+ members here, I could choose only 128 members for a best poster tourney contest - something that was not to be taken seriously. Too bad he is the only person here who fails to realize that.

Maybe one of the mods can take the "New Years Eve" off the thread title. That way I don't have to start another thread about a get together. Although, I'll probably have to do it anyway about a week prior to the event just so everyone knows what's going on.

For the Super Bowl, I've decided to stay home and enjoy the game there. As far as the January Rockets games go, none really jump out at me. The afternoon game is out, the Sacramento game will most likley not be worth watching in the first place, and the rest is aganist the lowly East. But I am always up for suggestions.
