Most of the people I've known who are scholars Ancient Hebrew (all two of them) have suggested to me that the "Conservitive Evangellical Christian" people who often play this "mistranslation" card are often the ones who are most guilty of the sin. I can't even pronounce any Hebrew, much less understand it (except the tetragammaton, the one word you aren't supposed to speak, so I couldn't say one way or the other. Just food for thought.

How about helping raise money for CC.net and giving us all the opportunity to purchase a "Time Out Card" and when that person who seemingly always is trying to antagonize you, you have the ability to play the card and it keeps that individual out of that forum for a disclosed period of time or all together.

This has happened believe it or not. Someone please correct me, but I remember HP making a bet about when Yao would be in the starting lineup and if he had lost (he had predicted Yao would be starting by the 1st home game), then he would give everyone who accepted the bet an "HP Shut Up Coupon". Coincidentally, HP would be in the middle of a grand arguement in the GARM and all of the sudden disappear for a while. ;)

BTW HP, are there any of those coupons still floating around out there? How many people did you have to give coupons to?

Comedy is subjective. If I don't get it, it's not my fault. On here that's why I stay away from stuff that COULD be offensive unless I just don't like the person. I've seen a "sense of humor" ruin a many relationship.

Plus just because and individual has a great sense of humor, it doesn't mean that he/she has to endorse ANYTHING with a punchline (or pseudo punchline).
