Thanks! Who'd of thunk it. Everyone is really excited. My mom keeps bugging us about details but we don't have any right now. We have put together a really great life over the last 2-3 years. It is such a departure from everything else that I have ever known that it took me a long time to get used to. Our relationship is what a marriage is supposed to be like. I know a lot of people say that they get along great but we seriously do. We never argue, ever. And I know that I truly enjoy spending every day with her. I think she feels the same. That's saying a lot coming from Mr. Skeptic.
That's great! I know what you mean about getting along great. It's the most important thing in a relationship and oddly enough, lots of people don't seem to understand that. I'm probably right behind you. I'm ring shopping as we speak and planning a summer proposal. Like you, we get along great. She's my best friend. We never fight because we don't sweat the small stuff. We just let it go. We're both mature enough to not care about always "being right". Before I met her, I was a total skeptic like you. I was convinced that all the good ones were taken. Lucky for me, I was wrong. Congrats again, and let me know if you need a kick ass band for your reception.
