Bah. You're just saying that now because of the revelation that windandsea is a chick!:p

Not posting in the hangout really came back to hurt her.

Oh and arno, MacBeth used to be known as JAG once upon a time, and "JAG" was in the last tournament with me, DoD, HP, and others.

Have to go with Refman, although MY favorites are A-Train, BahDakota, DoD, Rockhead. Funny guys with a little extra bite and wisdom . Y'all went the earnest route, instead. OK. Please, no Sally Fields acceptance post.

Ok. I've decided to wait till the full drama develops before I cast my vote. I want to see what tricks they have in their bags besides relaship advise and sports cards.

I'd like each of the canidates to answer this simple question before I cast my vote...

    there was a guy
an under water guy who controlled the sea
got killed by ten million pounds of sludge
from new york and new jersey

    the creature in the sky
    got sucked in ahole
now there's a hole in the sky
    and the ground's not cold
and if the ground's not cold
    everything is gonna burn
    we'll all take turns
    i'll get mine, too

    if man is 5
    then the devil is 6
    then god is 7 ?

Only if I knew God's number...my life would be so much easier. Maybe it would be more difficult. Knowing the number of God would be a burden in and of itself. I mean having such wonderful information and nobody would believe you. You have to keep it to yourself or somebody will recommend commitment.

By my count (and I totally suck at math), it's:

    Refman: 20
    VesceySux: 16

I'm not sure how it ever got this close, but it is. (Ref, I owe you an apology...)

Manny, I'd go ahead and move the voting deadline up to tomorrow night. No need for a week-long vote...

I owe people some cards now... :)

    You forgot

    Windandsea: 2
    DallasThomas: 1

GO DT!!! Only 20 more votes and you'll not win anyways because you already lost!!

Well, VesceySux made a valiant comeback from a huge deficit, but it was too much ground to make up.

So, your winner of the Best Poster (the Sequel) Tournament of Clutchcity is

    Refman!

Congrats to Refman, VS, and everyone else who participated in this tournament. It was all in fun, and I hope that y'all got the same amount of enjoyment out of it like I did.

Congrats to Refman. He thoroughly kicked my ass... and rightfully so. At least I can say I'm #2...

    [Cue sappy Full House music]

Y'know. I learned something important today. I learned that bribery and flattery will only work in real elections, not popularity contests on message boards. In the end, it's not about money, trading cards, death threats, or even super ninja assassin monkeys with cloaking technology (don't go out late at night for a few days, Ref). No... It's all about... this [puts hand over heart]. Well played, everyone. I applaud you. You guys voted with your hearts... and in the end, ripped my still-beating heart from my convulsing body and smashed it to a million bloody pieces of gore. But, hey, life goes on. We all can't finish first, but we can whine, moan, and threaten lawsuits until we finally get our way. That's just the natural order of things. Hmmm, now that I think about it, I really didn't learn anything at all. In fact, if anything, I've gained a psychotic, bloodthirsty quest for vengeance (not the poster) that will probably consume me untill I finally go insane. But you know what? Everything is going to be okay. Yes... everything is going to be... just... fine... Muh ha ha ha ha ha ha!! Bwa ha ha ha ha!!! Bwa ha ha ha ha!! Muh hahahahahahahahahahaahaha!!!

    [End sappy music]

So, what's next for VesceySux? Well, to be honest, I don't know. Perhaps I'll go on the lecture circuit, talking smack about the Refman administration. Maybe I'll pen my memoirs. Maybe I'll guest star as a bodiless head on Futurama. Hey, I might even accomplish my dream of creating a 24-hour Sifl & Olly cable channel. Who knows what the future holds for me. I alone control my destiny, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Some people are already talking about my campaign for 2003. They want to know if I'll run again or, at the very least, which candidate I'll endorse. They claim I'll get over the hump next time. To all of these people and everyone else, let me say that I don't know if I'll run again. The putrid stench of defeat is still lingering in the air, and this agonizing loss is still too fresh in my mind. I might need tiime to rid myself of this "second-best" stigma. Perhaps a name change might help me approach things from a brand new perspective. Maybe I need a few months of posting nonsensical crap, like "Hey d00Ds. Fransis is sUXOR. Griffen is alright i like him 4 president of Canada. lEt's get Rasheeed." It might just clear my head. Yes, maybe a name change IS what I need right now...

So, thanks to everyone for voting, and a special thanks to Manny for running the show. As always at CC.net, its nothing but good times and noodle salad... :)

(... And to those of you who didn't vote for me, I'd watch out for those assassin monkeys, if I were you...)

VesceySux...I may have missed it, but did you ever reveal your secret identity? Or was that just one big joke and you are actually a nobody like all of us? ;)
