I know peeps don't agree on everything but seriously why all the RM95 bashing? I don't agree with everything he says but I respect him just like the rest of you. I think people are starting to take this a little too personally. Chill.

Good God this thread degenerated fast...

No, this site is not an accurate cross-section of society.

As mentioned, it lacks many significant elements of a society, namely women and some racial minorities. In addition, it is mainly comprised of basketball fans, hence sports fans, and as such would not represent those members of a society ( and they're out there, damn them) who think sports is a waste of time. Also, it is predominantly, although hardly exclusively, comprised of Texans and the rest of the world all know you guys are gun-toting, BBQ-eating, line-dancing, dang-ol-dang muttering rednecks ( :D )..No, but seriously, we don'y have anywhere near an accurate geo-political representation of North America here, let alone society in general.

As to Rand, I have read many of her works, agreed with few, but remember what Socrates said about knowlege...

This is a bit tangential, but this is better than society in one great way: you get to know someone before you meet them. Granted they could be lying through one end or the other about everything, but that's a risk you just have to take....

I took this place too seriously once when RM95 insulted my wife. It was in bad taste, but it was funny! Hey, I look forward to the day I get to meet him and hisgirl.

Dude, all I have to do is put you on a mountain bike. Gravity will take care of the rest! :)

    Likewise.
