Richard Coyle(Jeff) left after Season 3, which is when that double episode aired. He was replaced by Richard Mylan who plays Oliver. And the show promptly went to hell.
Even better, BBC America is showing a Dylan Moran standup special. Dylan was the wet-blanket roommate of Shaun's gf in "Shaun of the Dead," and also the lead character in the funniest sitcom that nobody ever watched -- "Black Books."

I read that he just wanted to work on diferent projects and some more serious stuff. I still really enjoyed the 4th series. While Jeff was my favorite charactor on the show it was still one of the funniest shows around without him. Definitly not as good as the first 3 series but well worth watching.
yea..I agree....although it isnt as good without Jeff....it still is loads funnier than anything on American tv... Poll question of the night.... Susan? or Jane?
Definitly Susan. Though Sally seems to get better looking as the seasons progress she isnt as hot as susan.
heh...While I of course agree Susan is the hottest in face and attitude....there is just a little something in Jane that makes me think she would be quite the freakydeaky one for at least a short term fling...and I actually think Jane has the better bod... I mean...did you see the one where she thought she was coming to dinner with that guy...so she shows up in just a long coat...and finds out that it is a dinner party? how cool would that be...to have a woman show up at your place like that... Sally has always been so irritating...way to focused on herself for my tastes...not bad looking...but I absolutely detest women that have her attitude. my apologies for derailing the thread...really didnt mean to...I just dont really like starting new threads.
