it just boggles my mind that in the year 2006, kids can be killed for being kids! girls and boys will always like each other all over the world. this case was horrible because the girl did nothing wrong and was falsely accused. on top of that she was raped and killed and hung in public. for what??? taken advantage of because she is powerless in a male dominated society will laws in favor of men. how much torture and rape has gone unreported in Iran?
Have you ever been to iran?. they force there views on the population by force if they have to. the mollahs in iran are barbaric animals who have destroyed a once proud nation.
Iran -- much like many countries/societies around the world -- have some work to do regarding human rights in general and women rights in particular. It would be disastrous if our Muslim sisters in Iran, Pakistan, and beyond can't report a rape incident because they're fearful of being accused of adultery and becoming outcasts in their own society, if not actually face worse consequences. Enough of this injustice done to our sisters, these issues need to be addressed in Iran and beyond...
In iran woman have 50% less rights then men. if a couple decide to divorce, the man gets the house , kids and everything else. for a while the mollahs put a symbolic Vice president as a woman to try to fool the world into thinking there not against woman rights. despit all this, the Brave iranian woman have never backed down. they can destroy our culture, but they'll never take our persian pride!
I know plenty of people from Iran, it's amazing to see the number of different views I’ve gotten. From what I’ve noticed it’s got a lot to do with where in Iran people are from. From what I’ve heard the Shah regime was as bad as the Mullah’s…if the Shah regime had not been supported by western nations – in my opinion we would not see the Mullah problem today…one extreme let to another…IMHO.
Shah's regime with it's many of it's fault was noway bad as the mollah. economic wise iran was in alot and i mean alot better shape. standard of living was much better to. however political freedom was not very good. Dr mossadegh who supported the shah, is my hero. mossadegh is a truly national icon. Shah himself was ousted by the west. when he started saying iran's oil revenue must be higher then what it currently is, it was the start of the end for him. I've been to iran plenty of times and suprisingly most people talk about him in a very positive tone. the older generation who had a much better standard of life in the Pre-revolution era, have told there kids about what they had and what they currently have. the mollahs are so bad that anyone can look good as an Altarnative
Execution is the norm in iran. since the Revolution, over tens of thousends have been execute due to trumpetup charges. nothing new. http://www.holycrime.com/
The standard of living was better because they were supported BY THE WEST... it's as simple as that...IMHO do you acknowledge that the shah regime was brutal (w/o comparing to the Mullah’s)?
Brutality was there. unfortunately....also the Standard of living was better because we had responsible people in power.egypt, Saudi, Pakistan are also american supported countries, but the standard of living is appaling thee. so west supports is not allways all it's cracked up to be.
Terrorisim: mullah's foreign policy Instrument http://islamic-fundamentalisim.info/chX.htm Btw, do you guys know what the Religious fanatics do just before executing a minor girl in iran, they Rape here to purefy her sinfull soul. there horrofic logic is if a pure religiou muslim rapes here, she'll go straight to heaven. even in iraq's Saddam hussaine, woman had it better then under the mullah's
So anyone who says anything good about the previous regime is a spy. you say i need to be objective with the current regime. maybe you should do the same about the previous regime.
