I think the guy often will overlook things and/or make hyperbole statements to get attention, but I very much agree with him here.

The Rockets game plan on defense was very good, blowout or not. Some of the things the Thunder do on offense is borderline unstoppable, but the Rockets arguably did as good a job as possible game-planning. At times guys got lost or didn't stay within the scheme (Harden & Lin being prime offenders), but those things are correctable.
I fully expect the Thunder to win the series handily, but some of the Thunder's struggles on offense -- primarily in quarters 1 & 2 -- were no fluke, so, if the Rockets can find some ways to score, these next few games should be much closer.

Problem with our team is just a massive lack of talent compared to OKC.

No scheme can make up for that.

We have to cut down the turnovers. I know it's a blanket statement but Thunder were killing is in transition in the first quarter, the younglings looked nervous out of their minds.

Whatever our plan was, apparently we didn't execute it.

We were completely awful on defense. How do you let a team score 65 points in the first half.. of a playoff game!

No help, no weak side rotations, and a general lack of effort. Our defense was absolutely horrible.

Last night was more of a case of our bad offense fueling OKC's offense. I thought we played alright on D. Durant wasn't getting the shots he is used to and Westbrook wasn't getting all the way to the rim unless it was off of a turnover. We have to make more shots, make them take it from out of bounds and keep OKC in the halfcourt.

Games are played on the court, not on paper.

And what about our woeful offense?

Agreed. This game would've been a lot closer had we not turned it over so much.

It's a young team that's less athletic, few more years.

Our defense was excellent. Jeremy was just gifting them points. I think he may be a mole.

i don't see he named anyone as an offender except he mentioned harden did lose his focus to let durant make a backdoor cut. why do you name lin and harden specifically?

One thing I would like to see from our bigs, crash the boards, and if they can't get the offensive rebound .... Tip the ball out of bounds !

The Spurs do this on almost every missed shot ... it slows down the opponent so they are forced to inbounds the ball and set up half court.

Yeah we were just outmatched talent-wise. Outside of Asik, our bigs were far too inexperienced and outskilled. But everyone already knew this... so I'm going to go away.

Yup. Westbrook did a lot of his damage when Beverley was guarding him and kept crashing the offensive board opening up fast breaks for Westbrook.

What do y'all think about putting Robinson on Durant, if chandler is in foul trouble again?
