Had KD not joined the warriors a lot would be different. For starters the warriors would have probably struggled to make the playoffs given how long curry had been out. Then OKC would have very likely been a top 3/4 team. Then maybe CP3 never comes to the Rockets, but at the same time maybe the Rockets are good enough not to have to make such a drastic move.

KD going to the warriors cause a colossal imbalance of power. I really hope the Rockets can play out of their ass and bring balance to all of this. I don't think we're that far away from seeing the warriors degrade just enough to bring them back towards to rest of the pack. I see Draymond losing some steps in the near future, and I see Steph start to lose a step or two in the near future. Draymond because his body type and the way he plays, and Steph because you can only withstand so many injuries.

This makes no sense. Not all ankles are equal . Harden and LeBron are obviously more durable than Curry. How do I know? Look at their respective injury histories.

You know one of the biggest reasons KD was able to sign with GS?

It was partly due to Curry having a smaller contract which was smaller than a max 100% because of his ankles and injury history. Had Curry received a contract that fit his level of play in the year after, KD never would have been able to sign with GS.

I think Coach Nick is wrong when he predicts both teams will average over 120 a game.

The D on both teams is too good for that kind of offensive output each game.

I agree. I expect both teams to hover around 105 ppg on average for the series. Slightly less efficient than the regular season for both teams, but still good enough to win.

73 + KD!?!? Of course no one thinks we have a chance and I don't blame them or care either. KD did what he did, it is what it is, just want to watch my team do their best and accept the outcome. My team has already given me a season to remember and it's still ongoing!!

Rockets are more predictable with their isos, and these videos usually assumes what happens when our role players don't hit open threes.

Warriors have the talent to play off the ball, and their pace makes it a game of attrition despite the turnovers that come with frequent passing.

It's much harder to breakdown because their core 5 are have high or above avg iq.

    They play biglydick defense.

I want to see the Harden PnR with McGee. That will be comedy in the making.

Rockets will lose a game at home against the Warriors (most likely game #2). I see the Rockets fighting hard in Game #1 and pulling out a close win.

In order to win this series, the Rockets can't lose more than 2 games at home because there is no way they are winning 2 games in GS

Rockets have to create the video first.

The Rockets just got done beating possibly the third best team in the league by double digits on the road twice in a row, including a thirty point smackdown. They can beat any team anywhere.

Very disappointing video from Coach Nick. He has no points. Even Max Kellerman has better points of view.

I don't know why Sam didn't mention it, but did you forget that this team didn't have Chris Paul, Pj Tucker, and Luc last season? Both teams have made dramatic changes.

I think without the emergence of Capela, it would have been really hard to game plan.
