Took them five years to get here. This ruling, its effectiveness and the length of investigation, are going to be Exhibit A in the conferences reshuffling and moving on. My biggest fear on the sports fan side of it is what that decision does to March Madness.

Whatever decision is made, sure it’ll outweigh the NCAA and whatever the heck they are doing. What a f*cking joke.

What a joke compared to what they do when a poor black kid gets a free tattoo.

Well BU will pretty much get the death penalty in the form of no conference wanting to have anything to do with them.

Texas OU going to the SEC
Kansas, KSU (Kansas government required for approval so I doubt Kansas can leave without KSU) and Iowa State going to Big 10
Tech and OSU going to pack 12
    WV going to the ACC

All the Religious schools going to hell.

You may be right, but I doubt it. Nothing has changed here. Everyone knew what happened at Baylor in 2011. It wasn't a secret. It was also roughly a decade ago. If Baylor gets excluded it will be for the other reasons you'd already guess...not for this stuff the entire country was aware of forever.

it took them 5 years to say, "oh, we don't have the authority to punish this." Unreal.

I was exaggerating, but no matter what happens, Baylor is going to lose tons of money.

You said no conference would touch them.. I disagree. Livingstone and Rhoades have turned the culture around at Baylor and are well respected leaders. The 8 remaining teams are sticking with each other.. could see a merger with the PAC 12 or be picked outright.

Our basketball program is that hot right now. Aranda will get us back to where Rhule was headed with Baylor football. We're going to be fine in any case. Baylor took a gun to their head a few years ago and got a slap on the wrist for it now. If anything, Baylor came out better after today's news.

Tip jar bet? I'm willing to bet 20 bucks that that Baylor will not be in the Pac 12 in any form and the 8 remaining schools will not stick together. Kansas, KSU, Iowa State and WV are as good as gone.

Yeah because they have so many options let me tell ya.

This was a slap on the wrist while some of y'all were talking about the death penalty. Yes, Baylor came out of this okay today under the circumstances.

Forget conference realignment for a second. This is as good as of a result you could have expected years ago. That doesn’t mean we’ve forgotten what happened. The Briles apologists came out today and I’m not one of those

If/when the big 12 folds, Baylor's best option is gonna be the AAC. I also don't see any conference taking them. Sec, Big 10, and Pac for sure all dont want them. Baylor is probably in the worst situation of the remaining schools, except maybe KState
