Still really early in the game. But I hope TCU can keep it up.

I guess everyone decided to give up. Baylor's next hire will be big

No chance. Chad Morris. PJ Fleck maybe. Rhoades has said that it'll be an offensive guy.

Do you consider those big names?

Herman wasn't a big name when he was hired. Baylor needs to move on and a fresh start is welcome.

There isn't a Texas team that has less than two losses. Disappointing all around.

I was just st asking because you said Baylor's next hire would be big. I thought you meant a big name. I agree with you that "name" doesn't necessarily mean success.

The SEC is taking a lot of talent from Texas due to the incompetence of the Big XII. Couple that with down years relative to expectations from TCU and UH; and you have a bad college season for Texas schools.

The situation has hit a boiling point. The players or coaches didn't care at all. I wish I knew because I wouldn't have wasted my time driving up to Waco. You can believe that I was heading back at halftime to cut my losses.

I cannot wait to clean house and start the next phase of Baylor football. PJ Fleck gets my vote. Larry Fedora would be a good get

I'm not sure what you mean by "big name". If you're referring to an already established coach with a top tier pedigree, who would that be? You're going to be very hard pressed to pull a guy away from another successful P5 program.

As for PJ Fleck, I think that would be a mistake. He's talented, sure, but he's also an exclusively Midwestern guy with zero ties to Texas. I don't think a program like Baylor can survive without someone who is entrenched in this area.

Keeping the son of Art Briles on the staff was never a good idea.

LOL, nor was operating a rape factory.

But they kept the whole staff of enablers on for "continuity"..

They dont need continuity, they need amputation.

Yeah he looks to be a big 10 guy. Fedora may want to come back to Texas. Morris hasn't been impressive outside of the UH win and I'm not sold on the Cal coach.

Fedora and Dykes are the two guys I'd be keying in on. You can probably offer enough money to tip Fedora, as his salary is only like 2MM. Dykes might be unemployed soon regardless. I'd scoop him up though.

Bill O'Brien may be available in the offseason. He has experience in that sort of situation.

How much cash do you think it'd take to pull a good coach to what's going down in Waco? Just saw a pic of a little girl wearing a "This Girl Loves CAB" shirt. Not trying to pile on the program but there are some serious issues down there.
