I don't understand it either, other than FSU is a media darling. Honestly though, I don't know how much that was talked about nationally. I don't watch much sportscenter and whatnot so the only reason I keep hearing about Baylor is because of this BBS and the Austin newspaper.
Also: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/9cWnubJ9CEw" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Florida is as Florida does.
Who cares? We've done enough to appease the masses. Will Tennessee and FSU do the same? Idgaf about anyone. It's basically Baylor v everyone at this point. We don't need to do **** more bc of public perception.
The 2016 recruits can go through the due process. Baylor may end up caving in but again..they don't need do anything bc you guys think it's the right thing to do.
What happened at FSU is an absolute travesty. Not sure what this has to do with Briles getting another HC job though.
I'm content with what we've done. Fired Art Fired Ian Fired Starr (basically) Fired various members of administration Lost all of 2016 and 2017 recruits besides Smith and Dickson (hopefully). Kicked Chafin off the team The 2016 recruits knew about the scandal when they singed their LOI. They're not stupid. This is about firing Art Briles.
I agree that he'll eventually get a look but other than them being sleazebags, the comparison doesn't hold IMO. What Briles did was that much worse.
This should be Baylor's new marketing slogan. Come to Baylor We don't need to do anything just because people think it's the right thing to do
Yup and it is an absolute joke that he did. But don't think schools will be looking at Briles and saying, well Jimbo kept his job so shouldn't be a problem.
As a Baylor fan...is this what you want to happen? Them to not care about doing the right thing? Isn't that what got them into this? Seems like they should probably start caring about doing the right thing more, no?

Baylor is screwed, but sticking their head in the sand has got them being delusional. The NCAA is not going to help them essentially hold players who haven't even enrolled hostage. Nobody expects them to "do the right thing" because they haven't done the right thing this whole time. They have a self admitted lame duck coach who apparently isn't going to grant releases. Let it go through the appeal process and there is no way the players aren't going to be granted full releases, meanwhile Baylor keeps showing its ugly side for a reported Baptist university. Edit: and apparently they messed up their best 2016 prospects NLI and he is no longer bound to it. Wr Devin duvernay.. When it rains is pours.. A karmic thunderstorm
Will all of the other schools follow suit? Your SEC is run on corruption and NCAA violations. I think we've done a lot to make things right. You don't agree? These allegations were out well before they committed to Baylor.
Don't worry, boss. You'll have a chance at our recruits in due time. Don't get impatient now. The rumor is Cannon who's a stud could also be kicked off the team. BUT we aren't doing the right things according to you
Baylor should have kept briles. They were going to look bad no matter what. At least he would have won some football games.
