That's cool, even though I don't know anything about the kid. But if he's considered 5-star QB then that's great for us. Current backup is real good too so it'll be a nice battle.
http://baylor.247sports.com/Bolt/SEC-to-Tennessee-Do-Not-Schedule-Baylor-34138989 SEC to Tennessee: Do Not Schedule Baylor A source inside the SEC informed BearsTruth a possible game between Tennessee and Baylor was nixed by the SEC. Tennessee needed to fill an opening in their schedule left by the closing of the UAB program. Baylor AD Ian McCaw and Tennessee AD Dave Hart were close to finalizing a home-and-home series between the Volunteers and Bears before the SEC stopped the series from occurring. Baylor's opening opponent for 2015, SMU, has been attempting to buy out of the game in Dallas. Baylor believed it had a worthy opponent in Tennessee before the series fell through. Baylor will continue to look for a home-and-home to boost the schedule with a tenth Power 5 opponent.
If this is true shame on the SEC. The SEC has a pretty darn good record against the former bcs conferences and UT would probably beat Baylor.
The good SEC teams have a good record against BCS opponents, but Tennessee is not in that group. The crap of the SEC is just the same as the crap in other conferences. Tennessee lost by 24 to OU this year, and by 40+ to Oregon last year.
Ridiculous. Baylor really needed to win this game to lay the foundation for next year and get some respect from the national media. Stupid penalty really hurt them at the end.
Bennett needs to go. His defenses have been horrible for 2 yrs now. There is actually some talent on that side of the ball between Billings, Oakman (both should be pretty high draft picks when they come out) and Hagar (a good college linebacker). Junior Briles better learn to mix in a run or 2. They should have been able to run the clock down a little better than they did.
Did that kicker die? Lol. (No disrespect if he's seriously injured or anything, I'm assuming he's fine?) Wow just now seeing vids of that kicker that got blasted on a block.
He got knocked the f*** out. What an epic choke by Baylor. MSU did a good job slowing them down but Baylor went into "play to jot lose" mode when they had the chance to step on MSUs throat. A bad bowl season for the Big 12 made worse.
