This game shows EXACTLY what I was talking about.

Look at how much better the offense flowed, look at how all of the sudden Aaron Brooks gets 10 assists, you know why? He has the same advantage Kyle Lowry has....finishers playing with him.

We have got to get CBud more minutes, and honestly....he should be starting right now....he is our best offensive wing.

Honestly without Ariza, we looked for fluent out there.

Maybe the only thing I agree with you about. Batriza can't create, can't dribble, and mostly spot up from the 3 point line. Budinger is more diversive and multi dimensional. And I think T-Mac energized the team today.

I haven't like the Battier/Ariza line up since the 2nd game and boy, I hope Budinger gets to start soon.

I want more Budinger and less Battier/Ariza. I like both guys, but I like Budinger a lot more. He has an all around game. I want Budinger shooting more within the 15-20 ft area, he seems money from there.

I like Budinger a lot. I hope he keeps improving because he seems to be on the path to be a borderline allstar.

i thought you were foolish when you said that, but the offense was wayyy smoother tonight. But chase is a rook, and i'll still take ariza's experience over that.

I was never a fan of the Ariza/Battier wing combo. With C-Bud's emergence and T-Mac back in the picture I wouldn't be heartbroken if I never saw it again.

Sadly we all know that Rick is not going to adjust his line up just yet :(.

Well that is ok, I am fine with either Battier or Trevor sitting........

    ;)

And don't feel bad, lots of people think I am foolish, but I am just right earlier than they realize...

I also think the Ariza/Battier starting combo is flawed, but I don't think Budinger is ready for the starting spot just yet - if ever. While he played a great game tonight, things would've been different if he had to match up against Tayshaun Prince, who was injured.

And if he were starting again tomorrow in Denver, he'd have to take on Carmelo Anthony, etc.

I'm not trying to take anything away from Chase, but one good game against an injury-riddled team isn't enough to prove to me he's the better alternative.

Keep in mind the Pistons didnt have Ben Gordon or Will Bynum playing. Or Tayshaun Prince who's been out all year. But would Ariza have provided anything more substantial than Budinger showed?

Budinger and 70% McGrady showed more swingman skills than Ariza/Battier.

Chase can pretty much can do everything that ariza can do, but better. Ariza might be slightly better defender, but chase has better handles and better athleticism.

I think Budinger is a better position defender and Trevor is longer and better at passing lane steals.

Budinger will be a lot better than Trevor, if he isn't already.

And he is only 21 years old.

Defensively, Budinger shows a lot better judgment than Ariza already.

Actually when Chase is on-court teams score less pts per 100 possessions vs Ariza.

You could say its because Ariza takes a lot of chances on stealing, while Chase follows Shane's route.

Ariza does have one thing Chase doesn't have, experience in playoffs and winning a championship as a super role player.

I was a whole season in front of you. Like I've beenn saying, if the rockets want to sniff at free agency this summer, they need to trade shane. Trading shane for gortat, foster or camby makes the most sense. That way, tracy gets back and starts and chase eats up all the backup minutes behind him and trevor. At the end of the yr, let tracy walk and that expiring you got for battier and now you're in the game. Keeping shane at 7m coming off the bench is not a good move. They don't need to sownload the info as u say and the admiration for fernandez isn't needed.
