Battlefield 3 - COD killer?

I've been waiting over an hour for Back to Karkand to download.

 

god damn i suck at console.

 

Over an hour? Damn. My update downloaded in about 30 min.

No more f2000 for me.

 

Yeah, finally got it going and played a couple rounds of each map on rush.

I'm only at rank 15 now so I haven't gotten to try out that many guns.

 

I didn't see any difference today for the ps3. Is that a later patch? Guess it's back to aek or m416

 

Yeah, pretty sure those latest patch changes are just for PC right now... it'll probably be a week before they hit consoles. So do your F2000 spam now, while you still can...

 

I liked the AEK a little more than the F2000 anyway so not a big lost for me. Can't wait to try out the F-35 soon.

Finally shot down my first plane today. Now only 65 points away from unlocking flares. :-|

 

try shooting down some heli's first. they aren't as hard to chase down as the jets. once you unlock the heat seekers it'll be a lot easier in the jets.

 

I usually get shot down within the first minute of take off and can't get another plane the rest of the match. I got lucky and went into a match that only had five people so I was able to get a decent amount of flight time in.

 

it usually takes around 40-45 seconds for another jet to spawn once one crashes. just wait at the deployment screen after a crash and spawn in it.

Future nerf/buff/tweak update and the f2000 is back but I'm having too much fun with the french famas rifle to go back to it.

I wonder how many times those two had to retake that.....if I'm wrong and it was not choreographed then someone plays way too much BF3.......though it was fun to watch.

Not having played BF2, I really think the new B2K map pack is awesome. I play on servers I mark as favorites, which are typically 32 man since the maps that shipped with the game tend to be too small for 64. So when I played the "new" maps, they seemed too big. Will have to revisit them on new servers that sport the 64 man max. It's gonna be awesome.

The B2K maps really are well designed maps. So much that can go on. It makes the new maps that shipped with the game seem...simple.
