I dont get it. I have great ping but on the demo mode itsimpossible to kill people. I get pointblank and shoot someone and they dont die! I throw grenades point blank and people dont die. I have a system that is well above rquirements, WHAT IS UP?...................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Darn, The game still crashes when I connect to my own server.....I have opened up all known ports and even set the game as a DMZ server. I will bet ANYTHING that it is a MS XP issue, I need to find out why XP is stopping all the traffic. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. DD
Da - the other night when nobody was on your server it was running fine. When the server is running what kind of load is it putting on your machine? How much Ram, CPU does the machine have? Does it happen to you guys at work? I haven't gotten booted from any other servers, so I don't think it is a demo bug..

Hey Dada, I had good ping and kept getting the boot from your server too. Never had the problem on any other server. Don't have any idea what would do that, though. That Kursk map is pretty neat. I like those rocket-launcher trucks. hee hee
We can hook up to the machine at work, just fine. It is a 2ghz 256mg Ram Geforce 2 card with 64mg Ram, and hooked up to a T-1 line. If we hook up to it from inside the firewall it works great...outside is another matter....I don't think the firewall is blocking or else no one could connect at all. Still searching for answers....I will get it worked out. DaDakota

I downloaded the single player demo and it's fun as hell. I only have dialup right now, so multiplayer would only frustrate me (but once I do get broadband you can believe this is the first thing I'll buy!) Anyway, can any of you tell me how to get on top of the bunkers in Tobruk? The bots get up there all the time, and I can't find a way! Aside from feeling lame, I really need to get up there for better sniping/anti-tanking.
I got a new video card and downloaded the demo today, but it doesn't work. Right as the screen comes up that has me choose my spawn point and type of character, the program just exits out real fast and I can't play. This sucks.
Do you have the latest drivers for your video card? Try setting your resolution lower, also in the game set all of the video options lower. Check www.ea.com for this error, I haven't seen that before, what OS do you have? Vescey - I have been playing everywhere. Raven, You might be trying to play a game in the retail version and not the demo only version. Also, make sure you get the demo PATCH! That should solve that problem. My problems cleared once I got the patch...and you'll need one for the retail version as well. My online tag is: ==Sgt Old School== os
Thanks for the tip, OS. The version I was trying to run was the single player demo, so there was no patch for that. However, after I uninstalled the single player game and installed the multiplayer demo and patch, it all worked fine.
