Of all time is difficult, but a darkhorse has to be SAM MACK!!!!

When he played that year with Hakeem, before his weed bust, he was deadly from the three off the bench.

He was good on the defensive end too.

He had his flaws but this guy was still young and could shoot the three when we let him go.

LOL. This video shows him torching the Rockets during a single game.

Also, I don't think he knows how to pass the ball. He's an immediate shooter.

As soon as I saw this thread Charles Jones was the vote in my head. Dude looked like he was 55, people think we had fun when Cook came into the game but we used to go ballistic for Charles Jones.

You guys know what the **** a 12th man is?

It means he never got off the bench.

It's been posted but Scotty Brooks got off the bench. He finished it off for Kenny Smith.

    geez man.

Wow, that was the WORST mix tape ever for a player lol. The guy doesn't know how to dribble the ball at all. Shoots immediately and has 0 dunks in his "highlights" :)

Then he wouldn't qualify based upon the OP's request, would he? Jones was a bit of a defensive presence even late in his career. I think OP's just looking for a warm body that you didn't even know existed on the bench. In other words - sucks.

    He should be given credit when it's due - I think I saw a dunk at 3:00 :p .

Then again, I don't know why I just watched that clip...

Now here's a man who read the OP's request and knows his Rockets.

    Granville is a perfect example.

But I'll see your Granville Waiters and raise you :

    A Dave Feitl

    and

    A Chuck Nevitt

    Winner!!!!!!!!!!!

I see Scottie Brooks on the list and actually Brooks wasn't really a 12th man he was a huge contributer on the 1st championship season until he got sick and Cassell took advantage of the oppurtunity.

Agreed. Has to be novak for doing something really significant in between long stretches of doing absolutely nothing.
