Whatever brah, you're the one crying.

All I said I that I don't get the instructions. It wasn't complaining, just a fact. And judging by the number of posts with people voting "wrong" so did many other people. I still don't get the "in-play game" is. You said in the first post it would start this morning and then changed it later in the thread, moron.

I wasn't complaining at all. DMB rating was stupid, so what? I really don't care. If it is for fun why are you taking it so seriously?

Uh, okay if you believe so - LOL.

Dude, are you really being serious or are you just trolling?? Maybe you don't follow the NCAA Basketball Tournament, but if you do, you should be familiar with a "play-in game" which started when they expanded the field to 65 teams. As pointed out by many (including you), many bands were left out but that was inevitable whether the field was done by me, A-Train, you, or anyone else. I chose the Police to make it and then decided to get rid of one of A-Train's 16 seeds in Live and Incubus with the play-in game. Since I am running it and it is taking up my time, I feel I have the right to do something like that - a so-called one-time thing. But if you could not understand that voting on HALF the field would take place today instead of yesterday, then I don't know what else to tell you other than sorry. But thanks for getting personal and making insults - really makes you look good with your argument.

Yea, right - you don't care. I posted a pic that should have ended things between you and me, but yet you come back with a post that insults me. But, yes you are right MR MEOWGI, you win. I have better stuff to do than to argue with people like you on the Internet.

Nope, I don't follow NCAA basketball one bit. Not everyone does. I had no idea what that meant.

All you had to do is clear things up when asked, or when it's was obvious people had questions or were voting early, instead of being a dick saying it's "not rocket science" and still not explain anything.

I never said anything about bands being left out btw. Now go read your Spin magazine.

    Okay.
And yea, you need to have a little PATIENCE and wait for me to clear things up. I saw your first post about being confused. I didn't respond because you did the correct thing by voting on only Live and Incubus. If you had done it incorrectly, I would have let you know (like I did with ricky-r****do and thegary). I found your second post of "wish I knew" or whatever as rude and condescending.

You are right and I apologize as I am man enough to admit (even on a message board) to admit when I make a mistake or was wrong. But you did complain about DMB being seeded higher than the Clash and the Ramones. And I agree with you BUT I didn't come up with the field. A-Train did. And as it turns out DMB is probably not going to even get out of the first round. So, I guess I got your complaining about the seedings confused or lumped in with such and such band not making it. But you really put me in my place with the Spin magazine comment. Too bad I have never read it.

But regardless of whether it is certain bands got left out or the seedings, you need to take that **** up with A-Train and not me, okay?

I used to think you were an alright guy, MEOWGI. Granted, I have never agreed with you on religion, but you have an opinion about it and are passionate about your stance. Nothing wrong with that - hell, it is something to admire. But I saw a side of you in this thread that makes me think that first of all, you have some anger management problems by using the insults (believe me, I was posting on this board before you and I went through the insulting the other guy phase - it doesn't help your case at all - hurts it more times than it does help it). Second of all, you have a thing about "image" and what you think is "cool". You act like you are still in high school.

I mean, come on, man, you are better than what you have shown in this thread. And I'll leave it at that. So go ahead and do another response that is insulting. It appears that it is something you are really good at doing.

I call it the bigtexxx rule. Oh and I should add that insulting others should never be done unless it is responding to a bigtexxx post.:p

this was a valid point Manny....

I deduced what the term meant by what was happening afterwards in this thread.

I dont care about nor do I follow college ball...so I had not a clue what a play-in game was.

just something to keep in mind when making assumptions...

and you better believe I have serious questions about the seedings....but Im sure you knew that. ;)

    Sigh.

I think you're making a bigger deal out of this than it is, and have form the start. When I said I wish I knew, how is being confused condescending? I didn't mean it like that at all. I thought SOMEONE would explain. Patience? I got my answer. It was "it's not rocket science" and that's it.

Yeah, I put my 2 cents in about the ranking, but people did before me and I thought it was no big deal, just a part of the fun. You started with the attitude.

    I am totally cool btw.

    Gawd-freakin'-damn, Manny!

Yes, I'M the mystery poster. For the record, I did come up with the 64 team bracket and I gave Manny full power to edit the seeds and add or delete bands as he wished, which he did to some extent. I originally had BTO, Offspring, and The Steve Miller Band in my original bracket and also had Boston, but I accidentally wrote Spinal Tap down twice when I sent him my email. (Right before I emailed him my list, I actually had Hootie and the Blowfish in this thing, but then the acid wore off). The only band that I requested he include was Cake, since they are an awesome band (not my all time favorite, though) that I feel is very underrated.

The reason I delegated this out to Manny was because I have neither the time or patience to do something like this on my own. Honestly, it took me maybe 30 minutes to think up all the bands and another 30 to write them all up in brackets. I just started jotting down bands off the top of my head. In retrospect, there are a few bands I did overlook. I'm sorry it got so personal, but oh well...Keep fighting the good fight Manny, you're doing a great job...

Oh, and to the anti-Chicago people...OK, music afficianados, you name a band that has over 120 million albums sold, 15 platinum albums, and 5 #1 albums....I know of one, and it AIN'T the MF'ing Pixies!!

VU, The Kinks and Talking Heads should be top five seeds or so instead of being left out altogether, but this will be fun anyway.

Beach Boys vs. Nirvana is ****ed up. They should both be late contenders.
