    Mango, mango, mango:

For about the 5th time in this thread, I did not come up with these bands - it was a former well-known poster who asked me to run this for him that did.

I go through similar situations in the D&D. Still will complain about things. Is it your thread or his?

Oh.......the same person who thought Mo Taylor was the future as the PF for the Rockets. That marks the end of my questions since I disagreed with him years ago and it seems that little has changed with this thread.

Did consider them for inclusion over Fleetwood Mac. The late 60's San Francisco sound did seem underweighted in the list.

To be clear, that was just my educated guess as to the mystery author of this list.

    nah.

Now batting third, and playing shortstop for the Chicago Cubs . . .

    P.S. - I vote for CCR and U2.

P.P.S. - I don't know for sure, but DMB a 6 seed? There are only so many big DMB fans on this board.

I *knew* that a DMB fanboy had to make up this bracket...How appropriate....

Haha, it isn't anyone in the sim leagues.

If I told you who it was, it would blow your mind. My one and only hint is that one of the 16 seeds (Tool, Goo Goo Dolls, Cake, Incubus, and Live) is his all-time favorite band. But I will say this - it is a big name - probably told too much.:)

Well it looks like somebody can't keep a secret.

If he told you not to share his name than you shouldn't have made such a big deal about there being a "mystery poster" in the first place. Just call it a friend from work or something for crying out loud.

Congrats, that was the first post of yours that made me LOL - there might be some redeeming qualities to the "bigtexxx" persona after all (or maybe not - j/k). Now, go pester SamFisher or RM95, you knucklehead.:D

    UPDATE:

Live is leading comfortably over Incubus by a score of 12-5. Don't forget - voting for the play-in game ends at 8:00 a.m. CST tomorrow. Then I'll have voting on the first round of 2 of the brackets.

I still don't get how to play (vote).

Am i voting for Live vs Incubus?

If so I vote incubus even though I don't think I have ever heard a single song of theirs.

Live is the most pretentious garbage in the world. I have always wanted to throw a Bud Light at that shaved head, pony tail Theater Major schmuck from that band. God I hate him.

DMB band infront of the Ramones and the Clash is a joke. I mean it is nothing less than idiotic.

    A-Train you suck!

I'll vote for Live, since I'm here.

Guess I'll vote in Live to be sacrificed to Page/Plant and the boys.
