    Hey Manny,
We already know that LZ is going to win:rolleyes:
It seems like just about everyone on this board worships them.
You seem to pretty diverse tastes in music, so why all the geezer I mean classic rock?

Well, a couple of reasons to answer your question:

    1) A-Train pretty much picked this field
    2) I tweaked his field a little bit but wanted to keep most of the bands he had as I felt he had a good representative field of the bands that have been influential and popular.

Granted, I could have had a tourney that had such bands as Sigur Ros, Pavement, Joy Division, King Crimson, Kraftwerk, etc. but I doubt that more than 5% of this board are even familiar with one of those bands. So, I do want participation for this which means putting the bands that most of the general public are going to be familiar with.

As for me, I like many things - stuff like Coltrane, Miles' fusion, blues music, avant-garde classical stuff by Ligeti and Penderecki, IDM stuff by Aphex Twin, etc. But I also like a lot of the classics - blame Floyd for that as getting into them made me work my way into Zeppelin, Queen, The Who, etc.
