It was a decent game. Both teams can play much better. Even though Cowboys won, this game is kind of a wash IMO because of the Favre injury and the refs botching a few calls. Cowboys still did enough to win the game and, even without the PI call, we're driving pretty well at the time...so you can't say what happens even without that call. But, it will be a tougher ball game when the Packers get their injured back. Hopefully, we have Terry Glenn back too for the rematch.

The game turned out a lot like I expected. Romo was brilliant, and the Cowboys overpowered them on offense, GB really didn't stop us all night.

As far as defense goes, what was happening when Favre was in the game was what I expected. He had not seen pressure or gone up against a defense like Dallas all yr, and they were all over him, and he was just throwing it up, making mistakes. I honestly think that if Favre wouldn't have gotten hurt, it would have been a total blowout. I think shotening up the playbook for Rodgers was the best thing GB could have done, and I was surprised he played that well.

We won the game, we're gonna host them in the NFC title game, and I expect the same result.

I heard him on ESPN radio after the game. They interviewed him and he only talked about his elbow. It sounded like a McGrady deal. Then someone said the coach said he hurt his shoulder...he acted like he didn't want that out, but said his left shoulder was separated.

It was third down and six with 15 seconds left. It was an incomplete pass. Flag was thrown for 12-men on the field so the ref said, "12-men on the field, defense. 5-yard penalty, REPLAY third down." I take it you're a casual football fan? This is common knowledge among us die-hard football fans.

Actually, I think he was being sarcastic.

However, the only time that that asshat Gumbel addressed that 12-men-on-the-field penalty, and the only time they showed a replay, there were NOT 12 men on the field for the Cowboys that I could count. Gumbel was clearly counting one of the refs because I counted twice and only saw 11 men. And if that is the case, JJ needs to make a HUGE stink about it with the league office. Of course, they only gave us one quick look at it, and nobody questioned Gumbel's inability to count, so I guess Tivo will have to decide.

And then I expect that your team will get their asses handed to them by the Patriots in the Super Bowl.

Perhaps Dallas shouldn't have had 12 men on the field? What does 15 seconds left have to do with it? It was the end of the first quarter. Possession doesn't end at the change of quarter. This is common knowledge among us die-hard football fans.

If the Cowboys make it to the Super Bowl I will never post on here again...and my last post will consist of a you tube video of me dancing to disco inferno in Cowboys regailia.

Life around here would be unbearable if those smug jerkwads somehow made it to the Bowl.

What a game...Went to Blackfinn last night and it was packed...

I wish Brett didn't get hurt so we won't hear about if he was playing...Rodgers did a great job, thank god it wasn't too great...

TO is awesome, but GD, he just needs to make the easy plays...

No question the Cowboys are the best in the NFC....

It wasn't a terrible PI call. Take away your Cowboy hate and pull out the rule book. Tangling feet is pass interference if the defensive player doesn't have his head turned towards the ball. He wasn't looking at the ball. He had his eyes on Miles Austin the whole time after grabbing his should and arm with both hands.

Bottom line is if you have to rely on referee calls to win a game, then you probably didn't play well enough to win the game. Green Bay played respectable and their confidence level is no less than when they came in. The game wasn't sealed until later in the 4th. The Cowboys should have put them away earlier.

We didn't get the best performance from either team. Way too many mistakes and penalties from both teams who are supposed to be Super Bowl contenders. I think New England would have wiped the floor with either team with all those mistakes and penalties.

meh. congrats to the cowboys. it was a fair win. the packers defense played atrocious--gbaja-biamila and woodson were sorely missed, especially woodson. romo was exposing our secondary the entire game--bush and bigby (especially bigby) are frickin terrible.

a pass rush wouldve been nice too. impressed with ryan grant--first 100 yard rusher against dallas this year.

you're right. 94 yards. i couldve sworn he had it last night.

oh well. he still played well. the other thing i have to say is that gumbel is beyond terrible. i like collinsworth, but gumbel is just ridiculously bad. i remember once collinsworth was going off about marion barber, and making some good points, and gumbel cut him off and says 'the coach says he is one of the focal points of this green bay packers offense'. collinsworth promptly stopped talking. i think he was pissed.

i have no idea how gumbel got a broadcasting job.
