The problem is, people forget who and what Shane brings to the table... Shane is an intangibles guy, that guy who's going to give you a 100%, play hard every night, do all the little things and a complete team player. He's not your go to guy on offense and not a guy who's going to look for or create his own shot. Shane belongs on a team with a lot offensive talent and unfortunately he's playing with a first unit that is in need of offensive players. Right now you have a first unit with only 3 of 5 offensive players and that's killing the teams at times. You also have a shooting guard who's actually a small forward and playing out of position (But he's doing a great job and not complaining). So you have to look at the entire deal, when you have an offensive center like Pe-can (Andersen) on the floor that actually helps Shane. T_Man
Why would the Clippers want Battier when they already have 6 or 7 players who can plat at the 2/3? Battier would add to their team salary for next season. As they stand Griffin + $14M under the cap (becomes TE for other team) + DeAndre (non-guaranteed) = $20M. Clippers might not have much of chance in the LeBron sweepstakes but as long as it is a possibility they'll hold onto it much like NY. Is this team better than the current Cavs?
