    you wouldnt know it from reading these boards.

    battier is big on keeping everything PC, so dont read too much into what he's saying.

    Battier has no balls to take jabs at anyone. He is that puss not to be mistaken with classy. Classy dont get drunk and karaoke all over the bars and be seen on youtube.

    Battier at least Tmac and yao were hitting the weights trying to get better Mr.0 ppg.

    I do not think it is a swipe BUT it does show the difference in character.

    TMac would not even sit on the bench during playoff games (was he too busy rehabbing to support the guys paying him $20M? Doubt it because he is still ****). Infact, on the contrary, he was going to the media picking the opposing team to win.

    Eff him. Shane is all class, glad we got men like Battier and not b****es like TMac on this team.

    If this was a shot at McGrady, then Battier missed (Unsure why any man or woman would be shocked by Shane Battier missing :p )

    Battier shouldn't be talking, I love the guy but his play hasn't been too stellar this year. In fact, it's been pretty bad.

    I agree, I don't think Battier comment is taken a swipe at any player in particular, I think someone is reading too much into his statement. He provides veteran leadership so he wants to be there for the four remaining games.

    I doubt it was a shot at T-Mac. Shane is bigger than that. Plus, If I can recall, T-Mac did attend the games before he was activated for his 7 minute farewell tour.

    I don't think Battier dislikes Tmac enough to say something like this and intentionally mean Tmac. I mean they were acting like best friends last time they played each other, even more so than the other Rockets.
