With Battier Coming back the Rockets get better. The defense improves a lot. Artest and Battier on the court at the same time with Yao guarding the paint will be insane. And this will allow McGrady a chance to play less minutes and less games until he gets healthy. The Rockets need a healthy McGrady in the Playoffs. But, a line up of Yao, Scola, Battier, Artest, and Alston will get the Rockets to the playoffs. Brooks, Hayes, Landry, and Barry can provide valuable play from the bench. But, if McGrady needs to shut it down a while, then that is basketball.

good point. With AB racking up his TO's by the tonnes and still not able to get others in the offense, good chance for SF to get some minutes. anyone know the latest on SF?
Shane + Artest + Yao = SICKOS!! I also like the fact that Shane is huge on the offensive end too. The guy imo is the BEST outside SHOOTER for the Rockets last year!! Very consistent and very clutch!!
That 30-something minutes freed by not playing TMac will be allocated to Battier and Von Wafer I believe.
