    ______________

Who would be are 3rd scorer option if not Battier? Juwon sux, but he can score ocassionelly. Perhaps Snyder will come out in a great season to come in Houston. Some1 from a trade or FA? I'm not keeping my hopes up, but you never now.

The one that always kills me is when people spell "lose" with "loose". I don't understand why that happens so much, but it does and it drives me bonkers.

You know what gets me? People who spell "Snyder" as "Synder". Kirk Snyder is his name, not Kirk Synder or Krik Synder or whatever else people want to call him.

Is it just me.... or wasn't Head our (2nd) third scorer when Mcgrady was out?
Im not saying you want to have to depend on him, because well lets face it, if you are depending on your third scorer to win ball games your season looks pretty bleak. However this guy did a yeoman's job when Tmac was out, putting up 14-20 points a game. He can get in the lane/to the line somewhat and has a nice outside shot. I think with a little more freedom in the offense and another year under his belt that, on "this team", he has to be our third scorer. Just MO. I mean is there a really another option on this team? See the second half of last season

If you watched the Team USA game last night on ESPN2 you will become painfully aware that Battier will never be our number 3 scorer...

He had a very unspectacular game and I was not impressed...

He did run all over the place and ended up on the floor a lot but he did not show me much other than hustle, he did get 4 fouls in 14 minutes...

Watch the World Games and tell me how impressive he seems to you...

I would not be overly surprised to see him not make the final team and if he does it is not because of his skill it is because he does at least hustle even if he is not very successful...

He is not the missing link, he is an average NBA player that will not make a big difference to this team...

Battier doesn't need to be a scorer on the USA team because it's full of superstars who can score. His job on the USA team is to defend and hustle. He can hit the open jumper when needed to.
