Its all fun WWF type entertainment. Though I think people are missing the point. Shoving people to the ground just cuz you're losing isnt a totally condonable act. When Danny Ainge threw the ball in Mario Elie's face after they lost way back in '94, should that be a case where you "take sides"? Or will you look at it like a single hotheaded act? (When did Shane Battier become the "Danny Ainge" fans love to hate?) What Amare did was a frustration play, which happens. And Battier probably deserved that for past flop offenses, Amare taking out some personal justice that the refs wont give. Similar to Derek Fisher knocking Scola in his chest to the ground... Though it wasnt like Amare DIDNT shove Battier in the chest. Thats probably the same type Amare frustration why he lacerated his own hand punching the fire extinguisher. Maybe Battier has more "Worm" Rodman in him than we thought, getting into his head.
lol, it was funny, but it got equaified (made that up) because he used his shorts to pull him up. If I was amare, i'd pull of that same ****.
It's related in that people use the same logic to justify a bad action. Like I said, it's juvenile. If you find this kind of things funny, then suit yourself. I don't think it's big deal. I just think that people who think it's a commendable move are just as juvenile as Amare.
No, if he had done it to Blake Griffin, everyone would be patting Amare on the back (myself included).
