LOL ... true. Though he maybe was referring to the start of the play, when Ron was initially on him. Ron and Shane switched on the pick and roll.

No matter what, the one thing you can count on in ClutchFans is a hater. I can understand the TMAC hate, the Rafer hate, etc but Battier hate? Not the last 10 games of the regular season or the playoffs. Can't find hate for his game so you gotta find something else that is irrelevant to winning/losing.

Kyle Lowry, Carl Landry, and Chuck Hayes are all interchangeable to the national media.

The thread starter is the same guy who started a few threads saying Chuck Hayes should be starting over Luis Scola.

He has a right to be angry about this.

Ironically... it took you two days to notice this and post a thread about it.

If you cared so much then why didn't you post about it right after it happened?

I know I laughed when he did it... dude was panting like he just finished a marathon (which he kinda did) so I am sure he was just spitting out whatever came to his head.

Dude you need to take a chillax pill and drink some wine.

I noticed this too, though I disagree with your second sentence there. It struck me as odd.

And in the post-game press conference, when talking about the second three, Battier said something like: "Yeah, I saw Scola underneath the basket, and he was open for a second, but then, I figured, I made the last one, so it was time for a heat check." Not only did he repeat the same "heat check" joke he just told to the TNT reporter, but Scola wasn't even in the game at that point. Landry was the one open. It's weird, he twice got the positions right, but interchanged the names. Maybe just the euphoria of team victory, or the aphasia that comes with being interviewed after (rare) personal success?

I think we should blow this out of all proportion, and self-diagnose Battier with some sort of social malady/disease. Owing to the mistakes involved, it's not racism. Aspergers, maybe?
