There is a line between the game and a human being.

At UT during football games, when anyone gets hurt, the crowd shuts up, put up their horns, and claps when the player gets up and leave the field. It doesn't matter WHO we play or HOW MUCH we hate them. And let me assure you that the UT footballs are usually sold out through the whole season as well. Lets get some priorities straight. The call sucked, everyone is okay, and we won the game. Move along.

I heard that and thought is was kind of odd. Stockton talking about how our classy fans were chearing when he got up, but all I heard were boo's.

If this game was in Utah, and it was McGrady that was hurt and Jazz fans that were booing, something tells me it would universally be called classless here.

Rafer for Deron. Then package Yao and Howard for Boozer and Okur. SLoan for Van Gundy. BOOM! You got your Houston Jazz. Then, you can be happy. :D

I think it's been proven 100 times over that the vast majority of sports fans are hypocrites. :)

They should not call a foul on Battier, period.

Compared with those Mormon fans, Houston's fans are much more civlized. Wait till Thusday, see for your own eyes when Yao got hacked, smashed and the whole arean boo him. Some of you is unbelievable. It's a freaking game. Let it go, you fake humanitarians.

Big city fans are big city fans. There are just a few extra bad examples, like the Philadelphia spinal cord injury cheerers and Oakland battery chuckers.

Don't tell me the Jazz fans would not have cheered had Dennis Rodman been clothes lined when he played against them.

Hahahaha! How did you know? ;)

If you look at the bottom line of that post, you can see that the whole rant was pretty much tongue-in-cheek. Of course, it does still bother me somewhat.

are you kidding? how pathetic is that? The guy is a good player, not great yet. Do you want to just cake walk to the finals?

    anyways,

i didnt mind the booing after the call but i can't believe the "utah sucks" chant while deron was still on the floor. Even if it was directed on the jazz in general, that was not the time to do it. Wait til he gets off the floor then you can start chanting whatever the heck you want to. pure lack of class for those who chanted that.

Hey man, it is what it is... I agree on all counts that Deron Williams is a good player and I see him becoming one of the best PG's in the league in the future.... but hey, if he gets injured, there's nothing I can do about it. It wasn't my fault that he was on the floor hurt... I was just angry that the refs called a foul on Shane.

Let's put it this way... I don't want a cake walk to the finals... but I will accept anything that improves the Rockets' chances for winning... even at the expense of Deron Williams taking a hard spill. I knew he was gonna get up anyway.. all he had to do was walk it off. Call me pathetic or whatever you want.. but that's just how I feel

I hate Sloan so much, if he became our coach, I'm not sure what I'd do. I guess pray we sign Spree to do some choking.
