They should also divide by the total population of the U.S. and give us a percentage since we keep making more people. Or, not.... it makes news.
Yep. I still do. I produced that show with my new company, The Catastrophic Theatre. Thanks for coming out. Clutch came too. And I think Jeff did also. Next time you come to one of our shows, let me know so I can meet you and buy you a beer or something.
Was my pleasure...was absolutely hilarious. O.k, am done derailing the Dark Knight thread...sorry guys.
Yo batman jones where can I get some info on participating in some theater arts or acting in general?
If you're in Houston, www.theatreport.com is a good local resource. And my company, Catastrophic, attends annual group auditions (along with about 20 other theatres) every June at Stages. You can visit their website (www.stagestheatre.com) for info on the auditions.
I can't stand going to the movies at night because people have a bad habit of talking so I usually go saturday mornings and pay about $5 a ticket at Cinemark and AMC up here in Dallas.
Good stuff. The first show at Tinseltown (I go to the Katy Cinemark one) on weekdays is EARLY BIRD at $5.
I haven't heard of that one in particular but if they want any money from you it is definitely a scam.
Nice price. I went to a late showing on Wednesday at AMC in Sugar Land and the ticket was $9.25! I remember being able going to AMC and paying $5.50.
I went to the Sunday matinee at a place that serves booze and food in the theater. It was a measly 4.75! I was pretty happy with that.
