Problem with Shane is that he will do this tonight and then have his famous 1-9 or 0-8 games with minimal impact. Guy was clutch tonight but is 17 ppg 6 boards and 2 dimes to much to ask from our SF on a pretty regular basis.
Yeah, it is. Only 8 SFs average that many ppg and only 6 average that many boards. He's already averaging 2.7 assists. Battier's job is to be the team's best perimeter defender, hit open 3's, and make smart decisions while being a leader on the floor.
I wish I had a laugh as cool as Batman. Loved how he was inspired by those phantom fouls the freakin' refs kept calling on him with 3 minutes to go in the game. He was furious ...I thought he was going to go Andre Johnson on that dbag, kobe.
And there is the problem, on THIS team, he can't just do that. When he is on the floor with Chuck and Lowry he NEEDS to be more aggressive and score more. It's unfair because, like you said, that isn't his job but if he doesn't score...we don't win.
AB okay but Yao...REALLY??? No one can trust Yao to come back strong or even come back healthy. IF HE DOES and AB can get himself together quickly then Shane can go back to being what he should be but if not...
