Yeah, I predict this will be VERY awkward and the few people who actually do show up will go home severely disappointed.

Of course, the awkwardness itself could turn out to be pretty damn entertaining, so maybe I’m wrong. Who knows.

I vote that we all raise the stakes. We capture video highlights, and post them in a poll. If 2/3 vote that the event is lame, the mods close D&D for good. ... or at least for the rest of 2009.

 

there's no way that there's one sane person in the world who would think, if this was a serious academic event, that ffb would even hold a candle to batman.

i can't believe this started because some idiot got offended because someone didn't appreciate personal attacks on their own facebook page. i've met ffb and could've sworn he was an adult, but i guess i met someone else. my god, how pathetic.

Sorry, but this thread was 17+ pages of complete internet failure sprinkled with some somewhat funny comments and pictures here and there. I doubt very seriously whether any kind of debate will actually happen and if it did, it would be lame enough to put all who gazed upon it into such a deep coma that our doctors would be tempted to bust out the DNR to save the Insurance companies $$$.
