Hopefully the newest trailer will debut after whatever the game will be is finished. I think it's more likely that it will be a link to a site that will have the trailer online after next weekend when it probably debuts infront of Iron Man.

The trailer will debut with Iron Man which starts this thursday night, but it won't be online officially til Sunday night: http://www.whysoserious.com/happytrails/

I have a copy of a bootleg somebody did in Brazil yesterday: http://www.mediafire.com/?9y3twv3wmmz.

The bootleg also shows a representative with the company running the viral campaign handing out a film reel to a raffle winner. The reels were handed out at each event yesterday and they have a Jokerized version of the new trailer with jokes and drawings scratched on it (apparently each one is unique). Hopefully, one of these winners will be able to post it online soon, they were instructed to "share" this version.

You haven't even seen it, and you already think it's cooler?

Still, I am wondering why so many of you are so eager to see the same effin' story with the same effiin' characters, with the same effin' ending.

By your logic, you shouldn't have watched any of the Batman movies after the one from 1966. So in July you can just stay home and watch all the "Biffs" "Booms" and "POWS" you want while the rest of us watch the Dark Knight.

Nananananana SWOLY, nanananana SWOLY. . .

It's a comic book adaptation and a reboot, so of course there are going to be the same characters, it's been the same characters for over 60 years. What else is the Joker supposed to do, start a charity? Is that different enough for you? So yes, he's going to terrorize Gotham City, but he's not going to use poisoned shampoo and deoderant, he's not going to fill parade balloons with Smilex gas; he's going to blow buildings up, murder public officials and carve gruesome smiles into their faces like a serial killer, etc.

So if you don't want to watch, don't watch it, but don't come in here and act like the people who do are r****ded.

I guess you won't be watching the game tonight since you've already seen the Rockets play the Jazz.

I already KNOW it's cooler because I've already seen a Batman film made by this director with the same cast (besides Ledger, Eckhardt and Gyllenhall who are all upgrades) and it kicked the **** out of any Batman film Burton made.

And how do you know the ending is the same (it isn't) when "you haven't even seen it?"

You look pretty silly here. But that "ending" is always the same.
:D  :( :)

p.s. Thanks for posting the bootlegged trailer. That trailer alone was the best treatment of Batman and The Joker I have ever seen on film or television. I'm friggin pumped.

I doubt it has the "same effin' story or ending":

In Burton's Batman, Batman caused the Joker to end up pasty white by dropping him in a vat of chemicals, the Joker murdered Bruce Wayne's parents, and the movie ends with him being killed by Batman. In Nolan's The Dark Knight, it's already been established that Joe Chill killed the Waynes(the way it should've been in the 1989 film) and the origins of Batman and the Joker are completely unrelated.

And it's possible Heath Ledger's Joker makes it all the way through the movie. Although the actor's death does create a dilemma for the inevitable third film in the series.

I also have a feeling that Rachel Dawes won't be some throwaway love interest the way Kim Basinger's Vicki Vale was. I haven't read any spoilers so this is all speculation on my part, but given the photos and footage released so far, it looks like whatever does happen to her could have some serious ramifications on Batman/Bruce Wayne and Harvey Dent.

Which brings me to the biggest difference in the story and ending of The Dark Knight: the character of Harvey Dent. He had a minor role in the 1989 film with Billy Dee Williams in the part. Here we'll get to see him with a much more sizable role, along with a tragic character arc that ends with him.....well, if you know anything about Batman, you know where he winds up.
