    i said i'd was gonna pay to see I AM LEGEND on IMAX just for this trailer but i'm disappointed in the reviews of IAL. but i don't want to click on this leaked trailer as i'd rather see it on IMAX. :(

    hmm, i clicked on it, but it's not the 6 minute vid i was thinking of.

    That's the URL for the trailer, not the 6-minute IMAX clip. It's a lousy bootleg, so it's hard to make out much(aside from the fact that Maggie Gyllenhaal is still ugly). But Heath Ledger absolutely nailed the voice of the Joker. That laugh would make even Mark Hamill proud.

    I think I'm gonna try to see I Am Legend IMAX tonight, but I'll get there early so I can sneak into a showing on a regular screen because I really want to see this trailer in the theater, plus I'm curious about how the crowd will react.

    I saw Legend at midnight last night.

    The Batman trailer was/is AWESOME, as was the trailer for that new J.J. Abrams movie 1/18/08 (or whatever that date was), which is apparently named Cloverfield.

    Good stuff.

    And Legend was cool, too. Not great, but a good time.

    I'm not sure I get what you are asking. As far as I understand it, the last part of the viral marketing campaign had 22 or so of these cakes at bakeries accross the country. People aware of the game went to go get them and then they call a phone number with the phone in the cake and after every phone had called the number, the first poster was revealed and free tickets to IMAX screenings of the prologue in select cities.

    They also sent delivered cakes like that to media people, mostly critics who run internet movie sites and they got the "press pass" which got them in without standing in line since it was first come first serve.

    So the cakes for regular folk was just a game to give fans something interesting to do and the cakes sent to the media people was to get them talking about the movie and hyping it up.

    yea, I believe these were just sent out to Journalist/Entertainment shows

    Perez Hilton is some dude that got popular because of his "entertainment blog" which is why he got one to give publicity

    regardless thats pretty awesome, hmmm, wonder who's name is under that number? :p

    I know I am in the minority, but I wasnt the biggest fan of Batman Begins. I know everyone is so shocked to hear that, since seemingly everyone but myself thought it was the best Batman ever. I liked Christian Bale as Batman and even liked how dark the feel of the movie was. But Katie Holmes was definantly a negative, I didnt care for the villains at all (Scarecrow was garbage...I dont care whay anyone says), and the fight scenes were just lousy.

    So, when I saw the ending and knew a potential sequel would have The Joker in it, I was intrigued but skeptical. For Jack Nicholsons portrayal is one of my favorite roles ever. Then when I heard Heath Ledger was playing The Joker, I pretty much wrote this movie off.

    Until last night when I saw the trailer.

    I know it was only a trailer and the point of them is to sell you on the movie, but I think it did a great job. Because I am pretty excited for this now. Ledger looks like he is going to make me eat some crow.

    Looks phenomenal.
