    OK, y'all have got to read this:

    First 6 minutes of Batman screened on IMAX in NYC

    Not really a spoiler per se, but I thought I'd better not post the description here for the purists.

    One cool thing about this footage is that Nolan actually filmed it using an IMAX camera/film.

    Holy doodoo. Batman was never my favorite superhero (Spiderman, please reclaim your dignity after the atrocity that was SM3) but I've never been more pumped about a comic movie than this one...

    All it describes is the sequence in which Joker first appears in the movie. No major plot details revealed.

    Now, if you want to wait until you see the movie to know how cool the sequence is, then don't click on it! ;)

    For clarification, you only get that with the IMAX showings of I Am Legend, the regular theaters will have the first theatrical trailer.

    Well I figured since that entire sequence was shot in the IMAX format. :D


    And I just checked Fandango. I Am Legend will be playing on IMAX at the Edwards Marque theater on I-10 starting a week from Friday. I'll definitely be checking that out(especially since I get a free ticket for the movie with the copy of The Omega Man I just bought).

    The last part involved these stuffed animals with addresses on them. Turns out the addresses are bakeries and you are supposed to go there and pick up an order for "Robin Banks" and the first person there got a cake with a phone number on it. Hidden in the cakes was a cell phone with instructions to call a number. Once you called that number, a stuffed animal comes off the board for that location and if you click on the test of strength, it goes up one more bulb higher for every location. There were 22 and only one left in St. Louis right now.

    I'm assuming it will just be the first official poster. Which would be lame for everybody else who has kept tabs on this thing for months.

    It's a reference to the movie Star Trek 2:Wrath of Khan.

    Yeah, it's my fault for choosing the moniker, but the dude chases me around from forum to forum quoting all my posts with a .gif from the movie.

    It's gotten old.

    It may hit the "innernets" tomorrow night in bootleg form. They were giving away free tickes for a special screening of it in select cities tomorrow night (not houston). Somebody will probably tape it, though I can't imagine trying to watch an IMAX film that way, they'll only get part of the screen.
