They could probably achieve their desired results by simply instituting a "no dunking" and "no tattoos" rule.

Alternatively, they could adopt the CBA model. Only two black players allowed per team.

Is this really different then the WNBA? White men seem to have less athleticism then Black men. Seems like a league that would lose a lot of money.

 

Except for the fact that white people have money, so you can exclusively cater to them and still make some cash. Same reason there will always be golf programming on a slow sports weekend, but you only see track and field every four years.

WNBA is different because women are half the population, and the NBA sees itself as the standard bearer for the entire sport, so they don't mind being the one place top-level women can play ball. Also, they might attract women fans to the NBA, and provide a nice anti-thug image for the league.

 

Except, I don't know how many white people are going to want to pay money to a racist organization to watch bad players play a boring brand of basketball.

look, don't get me wrong and I may get blasted for this, but i think the there are a lot racial elements to complaints about the modern NBA, but I doubt this is a viable alternative

I don't think there is. The game will be less exciting and it would get bad pub for not allowing black players. And what kind of players will go there? Rejects of the NBADL?
