I'm just over the double big lineup. It should never be used when Amen is on the court, at least until he can shoot 35% from the 3. The paint is clogged af and Amen can't cut when Adams is parked in the paint.

KD is also struggling with double bigs sometimes, since he has less space to operate. I'm not really worried about his offense tho, more concerned about his lack of energy on rebounding. I get he's ancient but part of why we were so good last year is all of our guys helped rebounding. Pistons out-rebounded us last night and it was not pretty.

I personally think Sengun is better at the 4 however he needs to play next to a shooting big like Brook Lopez (but younger).

KD is also that the guy to be running around the perimeter trying to defend smalls in space and switching everything.

That is why Ime is trying to get the zone to work. But it won't except against poor Trans and poor backup units.

I think every person on this forum has made their thoughts known in threads.. It's just only a select few that seem to wanna start topics ,knowing there will be nauseating back and forth between others that respond.. ( Although i never understood why don't they just DM each other and screenshot it if they want others to see it)...

Not saying that's you , but sometimes I think you're a glutton for punishable attention when you start things with " basketball aint that complicated " ... But I'll bite...

I think the key is to let it work itself out... There will be adjustments ,strategic and personnel wise.. There's a good 5 year window for this current core whether we like the Baris and Senguns, or not ... We're clearly right there so making a few minor upgrades along the way until you make the choice to blow it up is the route I'd go... And no, starting Reed isn't the minor upgrade that I'm thinking lol... Although I think he should be given more chances to initiate the offense while out there even if it's just to see if he's capable of it for the near future ...

I actually do think DD would do a better job, all jokes aside.

Seriously. Do people not learn from the mroey era.

when there are glaring holes and issues you don’t just ignore them. These issues had been going on before last season …KD was supposed to magically fix the offense

The issue is the rockets don’t have a road map or game plan for KD to play into.

it’s not a knee jerk to say there is no indication that things will fix themselves

Reed picks up his dribble too much. He looks like a deer in headlights all the time as well. I would rather play the g league mvp and see what he has.

    i respectfully disagree...
Imo the bigs cleaning the glass for the putback is about all we got going for us... bc guys keep blowing easy lay-ups...

and we can keep game planning for a way to showhow utilize Reed Sheppard - or we can admit that he simply doesnt have the skills to be a starting caliber player... his overall skills just arent good enough to play pg and he's too much of a defensive liability to play anywhere else...

Who would you rather have on the team right now, Cam Whitmore or Kevin Porter Jr?
