Based on just defense, Aaron Brooks cannot be the starter

Another problem with this team is they give up 2nd possessions wayyy too often. They did it against the Cavs and now against the Bulls. Bulls getting way too many 2nd chance shots...that is going to kill your team.

As you know ,when the team is winning you can't see the problem and some against voice is always ignored .This is the reason we should point out after we have such a collapse.

AB can be a good backup. starter? we need find someone else

I agree with you that Rafer was better at running the floor, but obviously not enough to make any tremendous difference. I disagree that Aaron is over-rated, generally (... after the Mavs game was a different story - but that was what I was referring to in my last post).

    Similarities under Rafer:
    1. 4th quarter collapses
    2. Terrible after-timeout plays
    3. Epic fail last-minute shots

It basically comes down to the fact that Brooks has a lot more upside than Rafer. We had seen the best Rafer was ever going to give us - I don't think we've seen Brooks'. We're going to have a rough growing period, yeah, but it will probably pay to roll the dice. Besides, we have other options with Lowry or Barry. In another thread I suggested using Barry at the point in late game situations. *shrug*

he sucked for the last few games, but when you win, people let it slide.

Artest should be posting up rather than shooting 3s and try to be the hero.
    He didn't play a tem-play tonidht.

At least under Rafer, you can blame the collapse on Yao because he got the ball in final minutes.

Under AB, Yao simply never sees the ball when he's fronted.

Well, I believe AB is a good player but he is not a good PG. Point guards need to keep calm, move the ball well but it looks like he usually lost control in offense. I admit that he always has highlight spots when he is coming off the bench. However, I prefer Lowry to him as the starter.

*shrug* That's why I suggested Barry in my last post. Someone else said earlier that Brooks would work better with the second unit since he seems to like scoring better than playmaking. I'm not opposed to having a 1. Lowry 2. Brooks combo. I just hope we dont all grab pitchforks and start marching to Brooks' door after every loss (or Lowry, for that matter.)

Defense? The kid can't even shoot, pass, penetrate, and create shots for his teammates.

Brooks in this league is NOT a STARTER. The kid been inconsistent all season long. We thought Rafer was bad. THis kid is just as bad.

Exactly, the coach needs to "study" video after each game to see the problem every fan knows.

This is why I roam around the forum and don't post at all.

TO MANY DUMB THREADS THAT ARE POINTLESS.

We wanted Rafer out of the team because of his inconsistency from the perimeter. I could of sworn I read thousands of threads saying to bring up Brooks as our starting PG because of his consistent 3 point shooting and being able to run the offense more smoothly.
We get rid of Rafer for Lowry and everybody busted their head and didn't want to approve this trade because of his lack of perimeter shooting and size. Then stupid pointless threads start popping out of nowhere saying that Brooks will never be able to run this team because of his size and being a suppose shoot first type of PG. Now out the blue we want Lowry as our starter.

Ya must really be running out of subjects to talk about take the team as it is and really hope we can go deep in the playoffs to prove T-Slack that we don't need him. Can somebody please tell DD to bring up another quality video SOON better yet another stupid quote from T-Mac would really help alot right now.

yeah I think Brooks just had a bad game...

maybe it has to do with the fact... he got use to jacking up shots.. and forgot he is good at driving the ball into the paint...

he has played many good games for us... so im not worried... just go over the tapes... and get better young fella
