R.I.P. :( This is sad. A drunken diver record holder claims another... that's sad.

Fixed. I know you weren't trying to be an ass about it, and neither am I... I was just hoping you knew it looked weird and a non-attempt at being funny... but I smiled a bit when I read it.

That's really too bad to die that young with that much talent.

He just pitched last night. What a punch to the gut of Angels fans. Tragic beginning week.

I think that's what hit home the most for me. It's not who he is, but that he just came off what was probably the best day of his life...and just like that, he's gone.

Sad, the driver of the mini-van had previous DUI's and a suspended license. The guy should have been in Jail.

Wow so sad to hear. Such a promising pitcher and unfortunately, another life lost due to bad decisions on the road. Prayers go out to his family and the Angel organization. RIP Nick Adenhart.

A coworker went to the game the day before that one. The 1 sandwiched in between the parking lot fight and this

Years ago my car got rear ended in a city close to where that happened...got their license plate # but they fled. Police tracked 'em down as a possible llegal immigrant who fled back to Mexico for the time being. Told me its not extremely rare. Not saying it happened here. They also did say California is one of the tops in the nation in hit and run incidents....

Not surprising since they do have the nation's largest population and I believe largest percentage of vehicles as well.

    The trial has begun.

To me, it looks pretty much like cut-and-dry murder given the following:

    But I'm no lawyer.
