Another reason to fire JVG, We need shooter badly, look at player he use.
He trade Padget, Now JB, we don't have any one can shoot, Bulls, spurs have kerl, Lakers have horry, yes, they don't do that much normally, but they are key to win the Chap.
    What we have, RyB :D

    YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More minutes for MY MAN RYAN BOWEN!!!!!!

If it's one thing JVG has learned after Phoenix offense, its that offense is clearly overrated!!! What we need is 4 more Ryan bowens on this team!

It's official. JVG has lost his mind. JVG lovers, enjoy the madness!

Barry hasn't hit double figure points in 17 games.

Unless Sprewell is coming aboard. DA for Fitch instead of Diener is looking like a bad move.

I'm on the "no problems with this move" bandwagon.

For everyone bashing it.. did you really think he'd be back to contribute this year? Cause you do realize, he was retiring after this year, right? So everyone wanting shooting for the future, and wanting continuity in the team..realize he was being replaced anyway. You hafta stop thinking with your emotions so much..

On 1 leg and allowing his guy to run past him, sure.

For those of you who thinks JVG is dong JB a personal favor so he can go to a playoff team: So JVG doesn't think the Rockets is a playoff team?

When we need the shooters the most, we waived the best shooter in this team, which is obviously not smart.
I doubt this is the right time to waive J. Berry. Look how badly we shot 3's tonight, you may understand that JB still have some value for the team.

Or perhaps, the management intentionally tank this season?

He wouldn't get playing time with Bogans and Head. Those two are our future.

Funny you mention Head. He can't shoot worth a crap for a while. Head will develop, but you don't give up season for the future unless you already think your season is done.

    Any more defense for JVG?

Chances are against us making the playoffs and both JVG and CD know this. Would you rather have a player who is going to retire after this year play and take minutes away from players who are in our future plans. If we are going to make the playoffs we should try to make it with the players we are going to have next year.

If we were contending this year, it might be a different story. So theres no point in sacrificing development time from our younger players. Get them some playing time this year so they dont make mistakes next year.

I disagree. You fight every opportunity you have. You want the kids to earn the minutes, you don't hand it to them, especially if that would hurt the team. A successful team would never do that, ask Pistons.

OKay maybe the chances are not that bad, but its not a sure thing. If we can make the playoffs playing our young guys, then it will give them alot more confidence and chemistry with our main guys for next year.

No I don't think he does, because for some odd reason, this season, we're not 8th seed or greater  .

Last time I checked, if you're not in the top 8 seeds, doesn't matter about your past, you're not a playoff team.

Tonight's loss really hurt, not just the fact that it was a loss in a crucial time, but to the 76ers!?

I still think (believe) that the Rockets can make the playoffs this season, but only with a lot of winning streaks...

Head can at least keep up with his guy, can't say the same for Barry. If you think Shooting guards are lighting us up right now, putting in Barry over Head would be crazy. Funny I mentioned him isn't it?

Wow, sure glad we dumped Barry's Three point shooting. We rocked beyond the arc tonight.

Wes and Rafer were a combined 3-18 IIRC.

Head isn't a good defender either, he always commits dumb fouls. JB is slow, but can't do much worse. With the way this team is shooting 3s, I don't think the lack of defense would dictate cutting JB.

Hitting some 3s would actually win you the game tonight. How dare I say that :p

You know J Barry is hurt, right? You know he's only made 12 3-pointers all year long, right? How would he have helped us tonight? He wouldn't have played. He's hurt.
