You are right, but Denver has don't ALOT and AI + Melo >>>>> TMAC + Yao right, + their supporting cast is MUCH better than ours... Who cares what has happened in past, each year is different, any year you never know whats gonna happen, look at teams like the Rockies who never won more than 1 playoff game in a year this year got to WS... different players, different coachs, make different results. Same city doesn't mean crap.
He did predict that Utah were going to beat us when Utah were losing to WNBA teams. Chuck is no Hubbie Brown, but he does sometimes says honest opionion, whether you like it or not. This should serve as motivation for this team. But dont ignore what Magic said, dont exepect LA to beat a CONTENDER like Houston. Magic is pretty darn good too.

Did anybody listen to the post game show when barkley was talking about houston and he kind of hesitated a bit and then said the West is going to be tough. I think Barkley saw the potential of what this team can become, but held off what wanted to say until this team starts clicking.
For years Barkly has been calling the Rox pretenders and for a decade the Rox haven't got out the 1st round, and for the same amount of time BBS members get all worked up about it. Has anyone noticed who has been right on the money year after year?
I have. I also love how the haters selectively ignore when Barkley says something constructive about the Rockets. His take on Tmac's ability to move freely in the offense without the ball is a small, but important observation. He has to work less for his points as opposed to what Kobe does or what Tmac had to do last year.
Utah looked great, Spurs, too. Screamin' A says 'Denver'. It's October, I mean it's October. I guess I'd rather the Rox peaked sometime after the 2nd time change from now and played through the spring to the beginning of summer. Not that I care what Barkley says, but he did say some nice things about us after the game. He said it was good to see us pushing the ball up the court and trying to get quick baskets instead of waiting for everyone to get set before running a play, like last year. He said that will help TMac and Yao a lot this year. I don't know why people always get so upset with him. He says outlandish things to get attention. Judging by this thread, mission accomplished.
