I hope that Barkley is right this time, but the chance for this is almost 0%. I also hope Jazz hire him for a GM, but the chance for this is also 0%. I do not know why some people watch his talk, it is just bad.

 

Barkley's statement could be the best thing that happened to this team.

The T wolves aren't that bad, Jonny Flynn looked pretty good.

 

You (all) do realize that the reason Chuck is on TNT is because he is opinionated, because he makes his statements and stands by them win or lose? That said, he very well could be right. We have the least talented roster (sans Yao and T-Mac) arguably in the entire NBA. Yeah, yeah we have proven we can do more with less. Well sorry, but that ain't going to happen over an 82 game grind....EVER.

The Rockets may or may not have the worst record in the West this year. However as the team currently stands, they sure as hell won't be making a run at the playoffs like many of you delusional folks want to believe.

 

well im one of those delusional folks than, because i think we WILL make the playoffs. this team plays TEAM ball, hustles, and mcgrady will be back this year. yeah we will make the playoffs.

 

Just had a crazy thought. Maybe Barkley is a HUGE closet rockets fan. The evidence is there....

1) He is always talking smack on the Rockets, as much or more than he does any other team. He particularly targets Yao, who upon entering the league had unlimited upside, and still has much room to improve. Now he could just be an idiot who likes people to hate him, OR he is trying to motivate us...

2) This business about the Rockets being worst in the west-- Could be more subliminal motivation OR it could be wishful thinking because he knows if we tank and get the #1 draft pick, and work some Morey magic with the primo free agent class coming up-- we could very soon be a title favorite.
