Barkley on TNT - "Rockets will have the worst record in the West."

He must have changed his mind on the Rockets role players between our Lakers series and this year.

The team Sir Charles once rooted for to beat the Lakers in game 7 is now back to his old Rockets-hating ways.

I didn't get a chance to see the game, but I saw the boxscore and noticed that Lowry had 8 dimes, nice!

what i saw the rockets play tonight was a pick-up game and nothing more.

expect the defensive (and offensive) output to drop greatly this season. it's coming. we may not be literally the last in the standings, but should be fairly close to it in my guess-timation.

That show is 100% biased and catered to make remarks that would entertain the audience and doesn't look at the intricacies of basketball. Kenny said Artest can carry a team for weeks on his back and can score 20 and keep an opponent from scoring 20. Sure, that was a couple years ago but certainly not now. Kenny also said the Lakers are the only team in which you can take away their best player and the team will still make the playoffs in the West. HELLO! What have the Rockets been doing the past 2 years???

 

This stuff shows how amazing the show is.

Think about this dude:

A cable tv network showing 2 games, none of which is the Rockets
yet, the Rocket fans can't stop talking about the post game show, instead of the actual Rockets game!

And you KNOW that if Webber said this, nobody would care.

 

Yeah...nearly every bball fan watches the show.

People are just commenting on how biased Charles is against the Rockets, not that the show is horrible.

we should track how many Barkley threads start during the NBA season.

 

Most of us know that Barkley is pissed Les didn't pay him in full for his last season (if this is true or not, we don't know).

Besides the Yao donkey bet, he's been pretty spot on the Rockets.

Oh how quickly we forgot the nice things Chuck said about last year's team.

 

His words shouldn't be taken seriously because it smells like fart.Unlike most of us,his month farts instead of his ass,that's why he's a dumbass.

 

I think posters on this board are sensitive. Who cares what barkley says? I don't think the rox will be the worse, but i do see them as a 30 win hoop squad.

 

I've said it, it all comes down to Tracy McGrady.

Just look at the winning streak. If he can come back to that level (or close) this season imo we can easily grab the 8th spot. We have more talent that that team without Yao in 2007/08.

 

You are also assuming the rest of the squad will:

1. stay healthy
2. not get traded

It's a long season dude. long season.

 

Yes, it is true. You never know. But I always try to stay optimistic.

 

What makes you think by tanking, we would get the top draft picks. The Rockets will never go out without a fight.
