Love the Rockets, but I agree. It's a chore watching this offense. The simplest stuff is hard for the Rockets and it's agonizing.

 

I bet he thinks Howard is now.

Shaq has switched to shilling for Howard now that they have the same agent. Gotta make Howard look better by bashing his teammate.

 

But, so true. Harden is no leader. He scores the most points, but he doesn't lead.

There seems to be no structure to how this team plays, I have been saying that since McHale, it seems like they are playing freestyle basketball on the court.

outside of of the one play where Harden didnt foul because he already had one early in the first - Shaq was right 100% right about the intensity and effort Harden is playing with.

His FTs in the first half is misleading they are all from touches on the perimeter and not from attacking the basket. Its maddening because the Rockets play so so so so much better with Harden constantly attacking the rim.

 

Nothing new

We play rudimentary basketball and it's so painful watching us try to score. No easy looks.

Oh and yes Harden is not a real leader. I have said for a long time we need a batman. Harden is a robin

 

He can't drive to the basket on Iguodala, Klay, or Barnes. 3 very good defenders, and even when he does, he is met by a great shot blocker in Bogut or a elite defender in Green. Not only that, the entire Warriors team is locked in and help on defense.

It's a broken team... But it could certainly get worse. Either they hire the right guy to fix it, or they start all over.
