How do you figure? How can someone shooting 55%, 10 boards, 2 bpg and can pass not make his teammates better? Shaq can't pass like Yao...and Yao's baskets are worth the same as Shaq's... how can youy make that claim?

Yao played two games exceptionally well, now he played two games really bad. This is not the Yao who should be. C'mon, Yao, be consistent and agressive. Yao didn't look like having any energy, yet, he went gym after games, correct?
Barkley is DEAD WRONG! TMac can't carry this team, it's Yao's team! Yao is the best player on this team and Yao is the #1 scoring option. TMac is NOT the #1 scoring option anymore, it's Yao. TMac needs to accept the fact he's the playmaker of the team, and Yao is the main scorer because he's our best scoring option. People just want to take away the spotlight from Yao cause they're jealous racist. I can't believe Kenny, Barkley, Reggie Miller said Yao dominated Shaq the other night is because of the Chuck Hayes collision. That's B.S.!!!!!!!!! I don't agree with anything Charles Barkley says, he is a sorry commentator, and I don't even think he is funny. He was a great basketball player, but I could do without him on TNT or anywhere else. I have never heard him say ANYTHING positive about the Houston Rockets or ANY Rocket player, especially Yao Ming. I will call him out, Charles you are prejudiced against Yao Ming! You know it, I know it, and the whole world knows it.

I don't see why it has to be one or the other. Tracy just needs to give more effort and suck it up rather than copping out with the "I'm getting older...may have lost a step" business. Doesn't mean he has to overshadow Yao on offense just because he's playing better. I think there's plenty of room for Yao to be a 25/10 guy while Tracy gets up around 24/6/6. At the very least, Tracy needs to show that he's capable of taking over a game IF it's obvious that Yao isn't having a good night or if the matchup is in his favor. It's obviously a different situation, but one example I can think of is when my friend and I play basketball together. We're both good, but some days I defer to him and other days he defers to me. But at any time each of us would be prepared to take over if needed. Doesn't seem like Tracy is ready to carry us for a whole game right now. He's shown he can do it for a half, but the last couple of games has shown us how far producing for one half will get you.
I agree and disagree. I disagree that Tracy HAS to score 25-30 to win but he HAS to be the closer for the Rockets or we aren't going anywhere in the playoffs. When the game is close or on the line, T-Mac needs to step it up and not defer to Yao or anyone else. Because like Doug Collins said, perimeter play is king in today's NBA. I also disagree that Yao and T-Mac have "never" made their teammates better. Especially for Tracy. I like the way the ROckets are playing right now, they just need to keep that lead.
I think mcgrady needs to take over the game.. he can be dominant when he wants to..when tracy is on..NOBODY can stop him and that makes things easier for the other players (ie Yao) yao needs someone to pass the ball to him but mcgrady can be both the playmaker and the go to guy. I liked the scheme we had in 04-05
I am a rookie too. I think Barkley is kinda of right about Yao. We need a guy, a man made 100% of clutch and passion who can drive everyone else on the team. Van Gundy failed us, and Yao isn't that expressive type. I guess Yao is just being too nice, and may never be ready to play the mean mean b*stard. It seems we are stuck with Tmac as the only option. Wake up, Tmac!!
