Barkley: "I was a Republican before they lost their minds."

I think that's great. Barkley would do well - his heart is in the right place. I fully support him, and frankly, I'd quit my job and go to Alabama to help turn the education system around if he was elected Governer.

I use to be a Republican too until sometime in 2005.

 

I was a Republican too until the Newt Gingrich's of the party took over.

 

I'd rather vote for an honest Charles Barkley every day of the week than for any lying ass politician.

 

I remember Michael Jordan commenting on Charles and some of the things that come out of Barkley's mouth. Jordan said, Charles says the things I think, but I know better then to say them out loud. In other words, Charles is honest of what he thinks of everything. He isn't worried about what somebody thinks or what group might disagree. You may not agree with Charles, but at least he doesn't come across as the typical politcal w****.

 

At least you would know where you stood with him.
