That's not true. He picked the Rockets over the Mavs, and actually I think he picked us over the Jazz a few years ago too because they were struggling to close the season.

Why are you shocked that he picked the Rockets to beat the Blazers. Thats nothing to be shocked about. If you know and watch basketball then you should have the knowledge to know that the Blazers have nothing but young guys on their rosters. Rookies in the playoffs going against veterans in the playoffs who knows what it takes to win a series even though they haven't done it in years. Barkley was just being real.

I guarantee you that if we win our series and the Lakers win their series like they should then Barkley won't be so nice and guys on here are going to bash him and say all the things they know of about him.

Do not care what he says, he is not that smart when it comes to the analysis of basketball. He is trying to be fun, but looking more silly because he is wrong at the 90% time. I do not watch his show any more, I am just saying.

I was amazed as well. He said two teams really played fantastic, Mavs and Rockets.

Inside the NBA is by far the best NBA centered television broadcast ever... Stop crying because the world doesn't love the Rockets as much as we do. They tell it how it is, plain and simple.

Charles Barkley, ESPN, and NBA TV coverage... Why does this bring about so much crying and complaining. When the Rockets' body of work warrants respect and attention, they'll get it.

So let's stop crying about, and look forward to the Rockets making it happen.

    That is all.

    not to worry.

he usually insults yao and only criticizes his game. hes also usually wrong.

this he was correct in his praise and will be correct in his prediction.

    Hey Tmac fan,
you weren't here for the Tmac vs Yao wars. It went something like this.

    Rockets lose:

    Yao fan: It's Tmac's fault
    Tmac fan: It's Yao's fault

    Thread=20 pages

Tmac fans defend him for what he did not do. Example: getting out of the first round.

Yao fan defends Yao for no reason at all.

How did you go from 1 example (from your link related to Len Bias) to some posters to 90% of people are full of ***?

Chuck is a master of boxscore watching.

He saw the 27 point blowout and Yao's perfect game.

To me, Yao didn't deserve all the adulation at the beginning of his career.
He was not that good, which was why Barkley thought he wouldn't score 20 points in a game his rookie year.

Now Yao is the best center in the game. I'm more comfortable with the praise he gets cause he deserves it.

Yao fan back in the day thought he deserved the MVP.

At least with Tmac, even though I don't like him now, he proved himself to be an All Star. It's not like everybody who wore Adidas shoes voted for him, he was an ESTABLISHED ALL STAR.

Barkley said that thing 7 years ago and Yao fan assumes he says it everyday since. That's why this thread is 'shocking'.

Barkley has praised Yao when he plays well and points out his obvious flaws.

Yao has always been a friend of the show, but you never hear that from certain fans here

Im not really seeing how that proves that some posters never watch the games. That guy never even responded by saying anything about Len Bias. You threw out a player that was actually on the team and one that wasn't. He never specifically referred to Bias at all. Unless you were expecting him to just flat out clarify that Len Bias wasn't on the team at all or something, then that proves absolutely nothing.

He actually said the Rockets would win the series.

I heard hell froze over immediately afterwards.
