He's been putting up good numbers the last 7 games. I haven't actually seen him play this season yet but maybe he's finally playing somewhat to his potential?

    last 7 games: 21 PPG, 6.5 RPG, 1.7 APG, 1.7 BPG, 54% FG, 62% 3PT, 80% FT

Rebounding has always been his biggest weakness.

I doubt that tells the full side of the story. Someone pull up his defensive +-, every time I see him play he seems lost on defense.

Don't knock 6.5 That was the statistical jump that led many to believe Mo Taylor had 'turned the corner'.

Mo turned the corner to go to his dealer's house.

Obviously he'll never live up to his hype

But lets look at some of the things he does well, and he could be a solid player if a team uses him right

He is excellent for a 7-footer off the dribble, has good range, good shot

His Shot-Blocking has improved and he can attack the rim against bigger guys

He's going to a better than average player but doesn't look like a future Star.

He outplayed Yao recently, right? So he must be good then! But ton of centers have outplayed Yao so i guess is not big deal any more!

Bargnani still has potential to be decent player someone who can give you 18pts 6rebs 2blks with 45% 3ptr night in night out. Whether he will be the next Dirk remain to be seen!
