On the SOTU Address: it's boring, regardless of who the president is. Let's just face the facts: it involves a president spewing crap about every issue imaginable, with no results ever coming from anything that's said. It's all image and no substance. The only interesting thing about the SOTU is the special guests. The honoring of the recovering Afghan war vet was undoubtedly the best part.

 

If you don't agree with me, I'm going to sign it into law on my own. That's what Obama is implying. It's an extraordinary abuse of power and a huge expansion of the president's powers.

 

Things Boehner literally doesn't stand for: the equality of women, the right of every citizen to vote, preventing school shootings.

 

Presidents spew crap because the pulpit is their only way to move his message across legislation. That's always been the way and won't/shouldn't change in times of relative peace.

I think everyone in the United States is unanimous on the issue of "citizen voting."

 

I think he's referring to laws similar to Jim Crow yet still exists today.

 

Is anyone else annoyed by the whole women equal pay movement? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying let's discriminate against women, but the argument is being oversimplified. There are so many variables. Way more than the cookie cutter argument that is being presented.

If you're posting on here, more likely than not, you're part of the rabble in some shape, creed or form. Who cares if you make decent bank? You're doing something in some way or manner that is just like millions of other people. So uttering the phrase just makes you stupider than you sound.

Another term for "sheep", which some right-wing partisans will gleefully worship, goad, and prognosticate over is "market forces".
