It isn't the same thing as about TWENTY people have pointed out to you with ZERO response to the contrary. Give me a link that shows Felix is not Allen's middle name. Give me a link that shows that Felix is some kind of code for Jew. You've been asked repeatedly to back these asinine assertions up and you have gone poof every time only to return and repeat the same asinine assertions -- SANS ANY PROOF OR EVEN SUGGESTION OF PROOF. Put up or shut up. Either one will do. To insane man: Look, they're both clearly total idiots. I won't pretend to know which is dumb and which is dumber. It would be one hell of a good race.
Where are you getting this from? Look here's a link to a University of Virginia database of elected state officials. It clearly states his name as Allen, George FELIX. http://fisher.lib.virginia.edu/collections/stats/valeg/php/candidates.php?eid=1993RVAG The Virginia Elections and State Elected Officials Database Project, 1776 - 2005 Candidate Data for 1993RVAG Name Gender Party Incumbency Status Allen, George Felix M REP Non-Incumbent
LOL, I've figured out why basso is confused about George Felix (not a jewish name) Allen He's apparently misread to this random, National Review sponsored blog (or something that repeats the same information). Felix (not a jewish name) was the name of his Grandfather, that's how George Felix (not a jewish name) got it. So, technically, he's not George Felix Allen Junior, since his father's middle name is Herbert. He's just George Felix Allen. So I guess basso can protest the rampant....agism? in calling him "junior" when he's in fact, not a junior, just the soon to be former p) JUNIOR senator from Virginia: George Felix (not a jewish name) Allen (not Junior, because my daddy is middle named Herbie) Boo yah! Sam Felix Fisher wins at the internet again! BTW, as most Houston residents can attest - the name 'Felix' is more likely to conjure up imagery of huevos rancheros rather than bagels & lox. Not sure why anybody would think such an obviously latin name is jewish. ANyway, Feliz Navidad Basso! or maybe I should say, Felix Chanukah!
nice, and thank you for pointing out an NRO post i'd missed, and for (perhaps inadvertently)proving my point: there's nothing wrong with using Barak Hussein Obama's full name since it is in fact, his real name. i will now go drown my sorrows for getting onwed on the internet by sam felix fisher, by getting laid for the third time in the past 16 hours. how's it hangin' bats?
First off, you don't know how to spell his first name, I guess you're spelling it "Barak" to make him sound like Israeli PM Ehud Barak. I'm guessing further that this makes you giggle felix-ily to yourself. If you're asking why Webb called Allen "felix", I would guess it was some sort of move to ridicule yet another fake populist pretend cowboy, who campaigned on the name of his football coach father, by a supposed real populist in Jim Webb. I personally didn't even know Allen's name was Felix - and I frigging LIVED in VA for a while when he was in office. The only person who made "Felix" into a religious/anti-semitic issue was Allen himself, when he tried to run from his Jewish heritage like it was a hot knish - and you, in your mistaken belief that Felix is a jewish name. Any resulting anti-semitic boost appears to be yet another figment of your imagination - insofar as Jews overwhelmingly voted for Democrats nationwide (something like 80%) and apparently in Virginia as well. But anyway, if you want to make the same mistake that you kept insisting Webb did with Allen, you can call him "Barack Obama, Jr." Anyway, the Hussein thing is a bit more obvious and deliberate, and sadly - more likely to be effective as the Grand Old Party of the South and their enablers bring it to bear. Note: In the past few days I have been confronted by one guy who brags repeatedly about beating people up over the internet and another who brags about getting laid a lot over the internet....sweet....so to you I say:
basso are you going to be a man and admit that you were wrong and Allen's middle name really is Felix? Or are you going to crawl into your spider hole of denial.
Yeah, I know it is a "duh" but it still should be brought up as much as humanly possible. Honestly, I had not point in bringing up the assasination angle other than my continued stupidity. I thought it was funny within this context of the one nationally elected Catholic being assasinated. Honestly, I am sure there are many, many Americans who would not want a Catholic president. So many protestants think they are akin to Devil worshippers these days (or, at the least, not Christian). Of course, Kerry lost so much of the Catholic vote that even this issue is funny in reference to him. 1. When the two choices would be named Hillary Clinton and "Hussein Obama" I think anything is possible. No, I cannot predict which state (or states) would flip. 2. Well, Kerry lost by more than one state (unless it is a big state - to make a 35 vote swing) so more goes into it. Obviously, my opinion is not scientific (and I am not really arguing with you because my position is so personal...maybe I am just lonely and crying out for companionship and thus talking to you...no, I am not Jorge...maybe I wish I was the chick magnet that is basso...maybe my prostate hurts...maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you) and is just based on my mistrust of the American populace and of the effectiveness of the Republican machine during presidential elections. Obviously all sorts of things could happen to change all aspects of the previous sentence. As it stands, I err on the side of expecting the worst so that I might be pleasantly surprised as opposed to always being disappointed. Because I am so, cool, though, I must add that I have correctly predicted every presidential election since GHW Bush so maybe my psychic powers will better kick in when we have two from which to "choose". PS - I am so stupid and people let me get away with it - obviously I would vote for Hillary just because she is a woman. Same logic as Obama.
As has been proven time and time and time again, you are totally, utterly and embarrassingly wrong. His middle name is Felix. It has always been Felix. It will always be Felix. Your desperate, pathetic and pathological wish that it weren't is exactly that...a wish. One that will never come true. Back to the point, you vile hypocrite. You (mistakenly) insisted that his name was not Felix (you were embarrassingly wrong about that) and furiously insisted that "liberals" were saying it is Felix (which it most undeniably is) to highlight his Jewish heritage. This is the EXACT same point you congratulated tradertexx on. So, tell us ,basso. What's wrong with being Jewish?
You are a ****ing freak. You were wrong about George Allen's middle name. You were wrong about Felix being a Jewish name (LOL). You were wrong about the Iraq war and virtually everything else you've advocated here. And you're bragging about getting laid a lot by your wife? Or is it a hooker? You are a ****ing freak. Did you want to admit you were wrong about any of these things that you were so clearly wrong about or did you just want to go poof only to show up tomorrow and AGAIN b**** about how Felix wasn't Allen's real middle name and about how Democrats only used it to tar him as a Jew (LMAO)? We all know by now that Jorge is a screwed up racist with an anger problem but you are proving yourself to be a severely troubled crazy person. How many people have asked you now to explain what you meant when you said Felix wasn't his real middle name and that it wasn't a Jewish name? You come back with a gif of a tied up guy and tell us you're getting laid a lot? Dude. Seriously. What is wrong with you?
1) Was the GOP justified or unjustified in referring to Harold Ford's attendance at the Playboy Super Bowl Party? 2) Does such a reference fall under the "character" argument, in a similar fashion to reporting a Republican candidate's speaking at (though not necessarily agreeing with) racist organizations, like Bob Jones Univ.(used to be) or Council of Conservative Citizens (still are)? 3) Is it likely/possible/plausible that the majority of Playboy "bunnies" at this party were Caucasian? 4) If the GOP were to use a non-Caucasian, particularly Asian or Black actress, would they risk a different set of criticisms: their depiction of either ethnicities as sexually promiscuous, or even a false insinuation of Harold Ford's solicitation of prostitution?
Has anyone checked on Jorge's status? His name certainly sounds like he could be an illegal immigrant. I do hope that before anyone listens to t_j's tripe, they remember that illegals are taking jobs away from Americans. Bottom line is that t_j only has a limited ability to process factual information and no ability to interpret information that flies in the face of his radical agenda. He is the ultimate rookie, plain and simple.
Ironic statement coming from a person attempting to pass off false information as a "rumor" that Obama is Muslim. What the he!! do you know about "true" Christians? Your idea of a "true" Christian is one who shuts up and votes GOP. Not all Christians are against gay marriage. Not only that, but it is possible to believe that marriage is between a man and a woman and still not believe that the government should intervene in that religious debate. Furthermore, it is possible that he believed that the law in question was not written properly, had holes or problems, or was simply not practical. How much of a surprise is it that a Democrat is pro-choice? I note that you provided a link for the above distortions, but not one substantiating your lie regarding Obama's religion, which is Christianity. As usual, Jorge proves himself to be JUST ANOTHER IDIOT (but one who could be an illegal alien).
HO HO HO! This is rich! Batman Jones, the village's emotional rage queen (and thespian) accusing another poster (a fair-minded, level headed poster, at that) of having an anger problem? And being racist? RICH. Of course completely unsubstantiated and factually inaccurate, but RICH. BETTY FORD
You do realize that your wedge issues were repudiated by the American electorate a few weeks ago, right? Oh that's right, the facts have a clear liberal agenda.
This is racist. There is a definite line between saying a name 'sounds Muslim', which Obama's does and is, and saying a name 'sounds illegal'. That is terrible that you would spit in the face of all of the legal Mexican immigrants in our great nation. If you weren't aware, Texas was a part of Mexico before it was a part of this US. As such, there are many citizens of Mexican heritage living here whose ancestry goes back generations in Texas. You should be ashamed of yourself. Your rage is out of control.
yawn. i've already admitted i was wrong, see above, but the mistake proves my point- if there's nothing wrong with highlighting George Allen's middle name, there's nothing wrong with doing the same with BaraCk Obama's middle name, so get used to it. what were you doing last night to celebrate your victory at interwebs? And my wife and I have been together for 20 years and i love our sex life- not sure why you'd feel the need to denigrate hot married sex as somehow less meaningful than your nightly masturbatory ritual, but to each his own I suppose. as I type this post, I'm listening to the overture to a midsummer night's dream, by Felix Mendelssohn, comducted by Felix Weingarten, neither of whom, I'm quite certain, ever went near a plate of huevos rancheros. You have no idea.
