LOL, as if you've ever attended (or even passed within a mile of...)Harvard or Yale or any other school even remotely in that conversation.

I'm pretty sure you didn't quite make the cut for West Point either.

    ABILENE X-IAN FTW! Go wildcats!

PS - while you're at it, I'd like you to opine on the pointiness of Kate Upton's elbows and whether or not it would merit your it-hitting thereof.

If one were to poll the faculty at any of the service academies for Democrat vs Republican one would absolutely find more diversity than at many universities - especially in some departments.

I'm always amused when people inject Obama's middle name. Look guys! His middle name is Hussein! Like Saddam! HE MUST BE BAD!!!!!

I'm sure he'll feign innocence as to why he decided to include his middle name.

Anyone who knows anything about Gorbi and the history of the late 20th century knows this is a pretty cool endorsement.

But that's why it will play well as a negative with the modern GOP base. :(

Then why don't you undertake this project and find out?

I'm sure you can identify and then root out the rampant corruption in the Wesleyan Classics department that forced you into a life of despair and donut making.

Well, wise gwayneco, perhaps you can enlighten the non-crazy RWNJs about Gorbachev and why his endorsement of Obama is so terrible? Do tell us.

It was Gorbachev who was responsible for the reforms that lead to the fall of the USSR, including a decentralized and more market-driven economy as well as the end of Soviet involvement in foreign affairs in Eastern Europe and Afghanistan.

Gorbachev was more of a "Cold Warrior" and was more responsible for ending it then neo-cons like Reagan or George H.W. Bush.

If you were to poll the faculty of the service academies and Ivy league universities, I suspect there would be consensus on at least one issue.

Are you deliberately choosing not to respond to what some of us have posted about the trends in gas prices and unemployment? Don't get me wrong...I'm not saying Obama should be free of criticism, but you seem compelled to blame Obama for all our economic problems regardless of what the data may indicate.

Clearly it's because he's Russian. And Russians used to be communist. Thus, Obama's a communist. It's flawless logic, really.

Little does gwayneco know, the Rockets' color is red. Red is the primary color of China and the former USSR. Thus, red is a communist color, and everyone associated with this board and the Rockets are communists.

If he believes the first line of logic about Obama, clearly he should believe the second. Thus, gwayneco is a communist and he knows it.

Q.E.D. Checkmate, Republicans. To deny these facts and questionable associates is like denying water is wet or that God created the planet 6,000 years ago.

Does the op have issues with the president's middle name? I'm sorry Obama isn't a pure white blooded American from the south.

What is he going to respond with? "Yes, I'm wrong and always have made a fool of my self." Lets be honest if the dude had any integrity with in him then he would exactly say that.

Perhaps you misunderstood my point. What do you think about the trends?

I can easily cherry-pick a few meaningless points as well:
    Gas prices July 2008: $4.11
    Current gas prices : $3.87

Growth of unemployment claims under Bush administration: +85.7%
Growth of unemployment claims under Obama administration: +6.4%

Debt added by legislation signed into law or initially enacted by Bush: $5.1 trillion
Projected Debt added by legislation to be signed into law or enacted by Obama x 3 (because we all know projections are unreliable) : $3.0 trillion
